Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah addressed the BJP leaders and Karyakartas at the BJP Extended State Executive meeting at Panchkula, Haryana on 29 June 2024. Speaking to the Karyakartas he said the BJP will fight the upcoming Haryana assembly elections alone and the BJP will come back to power with full majority for its third consecutive term.
Shri Shah said Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini, the BJP will form the government in Haryana for the third time with a massive majority.
Shri Shah said the Bharatiya Janata Party has moved forward with the Sankalp of development and the welfare of the poor. The Congress leaders who only indulged in cuts, commissions and corruption cannot defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party.
In the last 10 years, under the BJP government, lakhs of people got permanent houses, toilets were constructed, Ujjwala connections were given, tap water was supplied to every house under Jal Jeevan Mission and Kisan Samman Nidhi was provided to the farmers. Bharatiya Janata Party has also done massive development work in the state.
The Union Home Minister said ‘Sabse Aage Mera Haryana’ is not just a slogan, Haryana is the state that supplies the highest number of grains in the country per person per acre, the maximum number of soldiers on the borders of the country come from the state of Haryana. The state that has won the most gold medals is Haryana, the maximum amount of Basmati rice is exported from Haryana, Haryana is the state that purchases the most crops on MSP.
Drinking water is reaching to the homes of all the villagers in the state, Ayush schools were built first, it is the leader in GST and despite being a small state, Haryana contributes 4% to the country’s economy. Haryana ranks third in milk production, maximum social security pension is distributed in Haryana.
Shri Shah said the government led by PM Shri Narendra Modi has also established four big institutions like National Cancer Institute, Indian Institute of Information Technology, National Institute of Design and AIIMS. In the last 10 years, the Bharatiya Janata Party government has done many development works and in the coming 5 years, new dimensions of development will be established under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Saini, Union Minister Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Minister and election in-charge for Haryana Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, party’s co-in-charge Shri Biplab Kumar Deb, all MPs, MLAs and other senior state-level BJP leaders, office-bearers and around 5000 party workers from all 90 assembly constituencies attended the meeting. After the meeting, Shri Amit Shah also met state unit office-bearers of the party.
The party also organised an exhibition at the venue, highlighting the state government’s initiatives and schemes, including the abolition of minimum monthly charges for domestic electricity consumers and providing minimum support prices on 14 crops.
