The Prime Minister underscored the tourism sector’s potential to contribute 10% of GDP and generate employment. The budget includes initiatives to develop 50 tourism destinations, grant infrastructure status to hotels, and promote domestic and international tourism.

Innovation and Technology: AI and Startups

Shri Modi emphasized the role of innovation in shaping India’s future, highlighting AI’s potential to contribute significantly to the economy. The budget allocates 500 crore for AI-driven education and research, alongside plans for a National Large Language Model. He urged the private sector to lead in AI solutions and capitalize on India’s growing startup ecosystem.
