The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisations added 2.10 million net formal jobs in July, a tad lower than record 2.18 million in June this year, shows the provisional payroll data released by the ministry of labour and employment on 23 September 2025.
Year-on-year this is an increase of 5.5% compared to July 2024 when net formal jobs created under the retirement fund body stood at 1.99 million.
The data further shows that EPFO enrolled around 0.98 million new subscribers in July 2025, which was a dip of 6.9% when compared to July 2024 when EPFO registered 1.05 million new members.
