State, District & Mandal level office bearers meet in Tamil Nadu
Union Home & Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah addressed the meeting of state, district & mandal level office bearers of BJP Tamil Nadu on 08 June 2025. In his address, Shri Shah praised the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and highlighted the BJP’s electoral successes, stating that Tamil Nadu now requires a transparent and nationalist government. He criticized the DMK government for corruption and asserted that Tamil Nadu is undergoing a period of change, with an NDA government expected to be formed in 2026.
Work with unwavering determination
He stated that although he resides in Delhi, his ears are always attuned to the heartbeat of Tamil Nadu. Stalin says Shri Amit Shah cannot defeat the DMK. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is right, because the power to defeat the DMK lies with the people of Tamil Nadu. Shri Shah said that he has participated in elections across the country, understands the pulse of the people, and is fully confident that the people of Tamil Nadu will uproot the DMK government this time.
Shri Shah urged BJP karyakartas to work with this unwavering determination. The 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections will be contested together by the Bharatiya Janata Party, AIADMK, and other NDA allies.

Union Home & Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah addressed the Vijay Sankalp Karyakarta Sammelan in Kolkata, West Bengal on 01 June 2025. Shri Shah strongly criticized the Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government for encouraging infiltration, political violence, and appeasement politics. Shri Shah boosted the morale of BJP karyakartas, urging them to contest the upcoming Assembly elections with full enthusiasm and confidence. He asserted that only a BJP government can restore the state to its former glory as Sonar Bangla and ensure a fear-free West Bengal.
Shri Shah said Bengal was ruled for years by the communists, and after them, CM Mamata Banerji, who came to power with the slogan of ‘Ma, Maati, and Manush’, turned this great land of Bengal into a hub of infiltration, corruption, atrocities on women, crime, bomb blasts, and atrocities against Hindus.
He stated that Mamata Banerjee has crossed all limits of moral decay in the name of vote bank politics. Just a few days ago, in Pahalgam, Pakistan-backed terrorists killed our innocent citizens and passengers after questioning their religion, right in front of their families. To avenge the horrific killings, PM Shri Narendra Modi launched Operation Sindoor. If Didi had felt this much pain when the people of Bengal were being killed in Pahalgam, it would have been understandable, but she said nothing at that time.
