Everyone has the right to live with equality and dignity under the Constitution. It is clearly written in the Preamble of the Constitution that – ‘We, the people of India…’ here the words we and the people of India contain the feeling of unity. It is further written – to achieve social, economic and political justice, freedom of thought, expression, belief, religion and worship, equality and opportunity, these are, the appropriate words express the feeling of harmony in the diverse culture of India. The Preamble makes it clear that the unity and integrity of the nation cannot be ensured without brotherhood. Therefore, with all these feelings, we adopt the Constitution. It is our Constitution that ensures the education, security and respect of the citizens by making detailed provisions on the social, cultural, economic, geographical and many other dimensions of India. The Indian Constitution is the security shield for our people. It gives the message of the right to freedom and the limits of duties to every person. It is equal for everyone without the discrimination on the basis of caste, sect, language, regionalism etc. The architects of our constitution have made such provisions after a detailed study and analysis of public interest, which have been accepted wholeheartedly by all. In one of his statements, Dr. Rajendra Prasad has said that “In the draft we had to consider not only every article but almost every sentence and sometimes even every word of every article…we have prepared a democratic constitution”.

It is going to be 75 years since the constitution came into force, now the question arises whether the basic foundation of our Constitution is being changed or amended? If it is being changed or amended then who has this right? Under what circumstances can it be changed or amended?
In the Preface is the Soul of our Constitution, Dr. Ambedkar had said, “Can the soul be removed from the body?” If India is one country, then should one country-one Constitution be implemented or not? Can the wishes of religion, caste and parties be imposed on the Constitution? These are such burning questions which are very important to think today. Many times, for vested interests, some people or political parties try to spread confusion and fear about the constitution among the public. They forget that the Constitution is beyond caste, sect, religious beliefs etc. There is a parliamentary process for amending the Constitution, and that process too does not run according to the wishes of any person or party, but it can be done only after discussion and complete process in the parliament.
These days, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi waving the sacred Constitution in his hand and saying that the Constitution will be abolished, we are fighting to save the Constitution etc., conspires to incite Dalits and tribals. Rahul Gandhi does not read the Constitution, does not respect its spirit. He does not know that Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar kept the Constitution close to his heart. If Rahul Gandhi respected the Constitution, if he respected Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar, if he respected the country and believed in the Constitution, he would not have hugged those who raised Pakistan Zindabad slogans in Jawaharlal Nehru University and would not have supported those who instigated riots, would not have met the separatists of Jammu and Kashmir, would not have made cow slaughterers Congress office bearers and would not have advocated reservation on the basis of religion. Now everyone is familiar with the anti-Constitution working system of the Congress. The history of Congress is that despite Dr. Ambedkar’s refusal, they abolished the reservation of tribals in the Vidhan Sabha by imposing Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, imposed emergency in the country in 1975 by unnecessarily crushing the spirit of the Constitution, toppled governments elected by the people by imposing Article 356, 90 times, deprived the Valmiki community of constitutional rights in Jammu and Kashmir, etc., which proves the anti-Constitutional mentality of Congress. On the other hand, if we look at the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, it is clear that for PM Modi, the Constitution is not a book but a national scripture or Holy Book. Therefore, respecting the Constitution and the wishes of revered Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, he removed Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and realising the dream of One Constitution-One Country, while on the other hand he protected reservation and constitutional rights, and has shown his unwavering respect for the Constitution by officially celebrating Constitution Day on 26 November every year in the country since 2015. He had earlier also shown his sacred loyalty towards the Constitution by taking out the Samvidhan Gaurav Yatra while being the Chief Minister of Gujarat.
It is known that Congress amended the Constitution 80 times and many times the amendment was not in public interest but to save its power, like when Allahabad High Court had declared the election of Mrs. Indira Gandhi void, they amended the Constitution. Modi Ji amended the Constitution eight times in the interest of Dalits,

deprived and backward classes and the discusstion was held in both the houses of Parliament for two days.
Congress not only crushed the soul of the Constitution from time to time, it did not even spare the architect of Constitution Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar. This is the same Congress which made the great Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar, who struggled all his life to get social, economic, political and equal rights for crores of Dalits, deprived, tribals, poor, women and workers of the country, lose the Lok Sabha elections in 1952 and the by-election in 1954, while committed a scam in the counting of votes and insulted Baba Saheb by awarding Padma Bhushan to Kajolkar who defeated Dr. Ambedkar. Congress did not honour him with Bharat Ratna while in the power, even did not display his life-size photograph in the central hall of Parliament, did not build national memorials at places related to his life across the country, did not name any scheme after him and not allowed the cremation of Baba Saheb in Delhi. These sins of Congress make it clear that it wanted to end the political and social legacy of Baba Saheb.
On the one hand, Congress had a dirty mentality of insulting Baba Saheb, on the other hand, BJP and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi built grand national memorials at his Birthplace (Mau, Madhya Pradesh), Sankalp Bhoomi (Vadodara), Deeksha Bhoomi (Nagpur), Maha Parinirvan Bhoomi (26 Alipur Road Delhi) and Chaityabhoomi (Mumbai). Not only this, he expressed his true respect for him by buying the rented house where Baba Saheb used to stay while studying in London and converting it into Shiksha Bhoomi. Dr. Ambedkar International Center was built at 15 Janapat Marg, Delhi at a cost of 192 crore.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi showned his respect by declaring these monuments as ‘Panchtirtha’, not brick and mortar buildings. Atal Ji and Advani Ji played an important role in getting ‘Bharat Ratna’ for Baba Saheb and display his life size portrait installed in the Parliament.
Baba Saheb wanted that for maintaining the unity and integrity of the country; social, economic, political justice and equality of opportunity should be available for all the poor and deprived, not for only few people on the basis of caste or religion, and this has also been mentioned in the Constitution. But even after being in power for about 55 years at the center and for maximum number of times in the states, the Congress could not provide the poor and deprived their basic rights. The year 2014 brought the rise of India’s fortune and hope for the poor, deprived, women and workers, when the reins of the country were handed over to Shri Narendra Modi, a man of strong resolve in Indian politics. In the last 10 years, Ayushman Yojana, free food grains to the poor, Ujjwala and Ujala Yojana, One Nation-One Ration card, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Construction of toilets in every house, Jan Dhan Yojana not only opened the avenues for development of the Dalits, tribals, underprivileged and other poor people, but also empowered them economically. For the first time, appointment of a Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe judge in the Supreme Court has been ensured; selection of Hon’ble Shri Ramnath Kovind and Smt. Draupadi Murmu from the SC & ST communities for the post of President; appointment of Governors in four states for the first time; appointment of Deputy Chief Ministers in two states, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, and Leader of Opposition in Karnataka and Jharkhand; appointment of 12 Scheduled Caste and eight Scheduled Tribe people as ministers in the Central Government; for the first time after independence, appointment of a Scheduled Caste person to the post of Railway Board and tribal Shri Girish Chandra Murmu as the Comptroller and Auditor General, shows the respect to the Constitution and its spirit of equality in political and social opportunity.
Due to the narrow mindsness, Congress did not even try to honour other great men and saints, but Shri Narendra Modi named the temple and international airport in Ayodhya Dham after Maharishi Valmiki ji, opened the way for making a Buddha

circuit from Kushinagar to Kashi Sarnath via Bodh Gaya, laid the foundation stone of the temple of Sant Shiromani Ravidas ji in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh at a cost of 100 crores and established a grand Sant Ravidas Udyan and a 25 feet tall statue at his birthplace in Kashi. By naming the Mau Indore Railway Station after Dr. Ambedkar, he ensured the social equality as mentioned in the Constitution. The individuals and political parties do not become bigger due to their political agenda but are respected for their thinking and honest efforts. Congress dwarfed itself with its narrow mindset, it considered itself bigger than the country for the fulfillment of political selfishness and made it a house of conspiracy, so today their political graph is on the verge of collapse.
The goal of BJP is to attain Antyodaya, which state family is bigger than the individual, society is bigger than the family, country is bigger than the society, with this feeling, keeping political interests aside, the party is working tirelessly for the society. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi worked day and night to fulfill the resolution of ‘Viksit Bharat’ & ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’, empowerment of the poor and the deprived, making the youth, women, workers, farmers strong. Recently in the 117th broadcast of Mann Ki Baat, he said – the Constitution handed over to us by our Constitution makers has stood the test of time, the Constitution is our guiding force, our guide… When the resolution is pure, then no matter how difficult the goal is, it is achieved. Born in extreme poverty amidst all kinds of conspiracies and insults, PM Modi is moving ahead like a successful warrior and today he is the most powerful leader of the world. Whenever he goes to the Parliament or on many other occasions, he bows down in front of the Constitution. For him, the Constitution is not just a book but it is a national scripture or Holy Book, which he always respects the most.
