Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President Shri Nitin Nabin, listened to the 131st episode of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s Mann Ki Baat programme along with party Karyakartas at the Baronet Heritage Haveli in Desai Pol, Ahmedabad, Gujarat on Sunday. The Hon’ble National President advised the Karyakartas to imbibe and apply the thoughts and messages shared by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji in their personal lives and work culture. BJP National President emphasized strengthening the booth-level organization, fostering a culture of continuous dialogue with party Karyakartas, and contributing to the resolve of building a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Shri Nitin Nabin asserted that during the last three days of his visit to Gujarat, the present day has been especially memorable. The morning began with an opportunity to share breakfast with senior party Karyakartas who have contributed for the past 35 to 40 years to strengthening the Bharatiya Janata Party. Thereafter, listening to the 131st episode of the “Mann Ki Baat” programme at the historic Baronet Heritage Haveli was described as an unforgettable experience. Hearing the thoughts of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji in such a historic setting was said to evoke a deep sense of inspiration and emotional connection.
BJP National President, while referring to the historical significance of the haveli premises, noted that Mahatma Gandhi and Rabindranath Tagore had visited this place and witnessed Garba here, and that several historic personalities associated with the Railway Act were also connected to this very premises. The site was described as preserving many important chapters of India’s history. It was shared that in future visits to different states, listening to “Mann Ki Baat” at a heritage location would likely be preferred. The moment of interaction with Booth presidents, Mandal presidents, District presidents, and state-level office-bearers was described as especially meaningful. All participants expressed their views in the Gujarati language, and over the three-day visit, a growing understanding of Gujarati was also experienced. This, it was observed, reflects the unique strength of Indian culture and languages, where emotions and expressions often convey meaning even beyond words.
Shri Nitin Nabin mentioned that he had spent considerable time in Assam as well, where during interactions with friends he initially requested conversations in Hindi, but over time began to understand the emotions and meanings of the local language. This reflects the beauty of Indian languages while vocabulary may be limited at first, an understanding of emotion and expression develops naturally when time is spent with people of a region. The “Mann Ki Baat” programme is not merely a medium for listening; Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji also encourages informal interaction, refreshments, and collective discussions after the programme, so that social bonding and organizational culture are further strengthened. There is a need to reinforce this tradition more strongly. To strengthen booth-level organization, the practice of tiffin meetings with Karyakartas should be carried forward. In some places, the idea of a tiffin meeting was misunderstood, making it necessary to clarify that Karyakartas are expected to bring their own tiffins and share the meal together. Every message from the Hon’ble Prime Minister, is rooted in farsighted thinking. While society faces various challenges and social evils from time to time, collective tiffin meetings with booth-level Karyakartas not only enhance organizational strength but also foster social harmony, creating a tradition that proves beneficial for both the organization and society over the long term.
BJP National President remarked that the people of Gujarat should continue to carry forward the state’s rich traditions and culture alongside their businesses and heritage, expressing this as a sincere wish. A defining strength of the Gujarat organization lies in its ability to connect diverse sections of society while ensuring wide outreach. Congratulations were extended to the State President and the entire team for the successful organization of the programme. It was further emphasized that the resolution of building a Viksit Bharat by 2047 still requires a long and sustained struggle. The previous generation, through its sacrifices and efforts, has handed over a strong foundation akin to a deeply rooted banyan tree. It is now the responsibility of the present generation to prepare an equally strong base for the coming generations and to contribute wholeheartedly to the nation’s development.
