Hon’ble Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation and senior BJP leader Shri Amit Shah addressed a public Meeting in Taraiya, Bihar, on Friday. In his address, Shri Shah recalled the era of Jungle Raj and corruption in Bihar and sharply criticized Lalu Yadav and the RJD-Congress alliance. He stated that the NDA, along with Shri Nitish Kumar, has always fought against Jungle Raj and continues to do so. Given the current atmosphere in Bihar, the NDA is poised to form the government with the largest majority in the past twenty years. During the event, BJP candidate from Amnour constituency Shri Krishna Kumar Mantoo, BJP candidate from Taraiya constituency Shri Janak Singh, BJP Bihar President Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, BJP MP Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, BJP Senior Leader Shri Janardan Singh Sigriwal, BJP MLA Shri Sachidanand Rai among others were present.
Shri Shah began his address by bowing to the people of Saran and paying homage to BJP District President Shri Brijmohan Singh. He noted that Shri Brijmohan Singh had played a vital role in strengthening the BJP organization in Saran and conveyed his condolences to Brijmohan Singh’s family, friends, and party karyakartas on his passing. Shri Shah commenced his speech by offering prayers on the sacred, divine, and historic land of Saran, paying respects to the Taraiya Shiv Mandir, Thakurwadi Mandir, Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir, and Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir. Shri Shah, while paying tribute to Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan and Bhikhari Thakur, stated that any campaign that begins from the land of Saran always leads to victory. If the youth of Bihar are to be reminded of the ‘Jungle Raj’ under Lalu and Rabri’s rule twenty years ago, there can be no place better than the land of Saran. The NDA and Shri Nitish Kumar’s fight was earlier against ‘Jungle Raj’ and continues to be against the same ideology even today.
The Hon’ble Union Home Minister remarked that the kind of atmosphere prevailing in Bihar today indicates that the NDA is going to form the government with the biggest majority in the last twenty years. In Bihar, the NDA is contesting the elections under the leadership of Shri Nitish Kumar, and across the country under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. This time, the people of Bihar will have the opportunity to celebrate four Diwalis, the first because Prabhu Shri Ram returned after completing his exile, the second just concluded when Shri Nitish Kumar and the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji transferred ₹10,000 into the accounts of every Jeevika Didi in Bihar. The NDA government ensured that the accounts of Bihar’s sisters do not remain empty during Chhath Maiya Puja and Diwali. The third Diwali was when the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji implemented GST on 395 items, making it beneficial for everyone by reducing the GST rate to 5% and 0%. The fourth Diwali will be celebrated when the NDA achieves victory on 14th November with the biggest record, and Lalu, Rahul, and their company will be completely defeated. Addressing the people, Shri Shah said that to celebrate all four Diwalis in the land of Sampoorna Kranti, the NDA must win all 10 seats.
Shri Shah pointed out that, during Shri Nitish Kumar’s 20 years of governance, Bihar was freed from ‘Jungle Raj’, and in the past 11 years, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has worked to channel the Ganga of development in Bihar. The 11 years of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji have been a blessing for the poor across the country. Eighty-one crore poor are receiving 5 Kgs of free grain, 42 crore poor are getting treatment up to ₹5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat card, clean water is reaching 15 crore households through taps, 13 crore farmers have received the Kisan Samman Nidhi, 12 crore households have been provided toilets, and 10 crore mothers and sisters have received cylinders under the Ujjwala Yojana. The BJP government has undertaken several initiatives beyond imagination. For 550 years, Ram Lala had been seated in a humble hut, but the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji performed the Bhoomi Poojan in 2019 and, through Prana Pratishtha, oversaw the construction of the Bhavya Ram Mandir. In Bihar, a magnificent temple of Maa Sita is also being built at Punaura Dham. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji abrogated Article 370 in Kashmir, making it an integral part of India permanently.
The Hon’ble Union Home Minister stated that under the rule of Lalu Yadav and Congress, terrorists were indulging in bloodshed. Recently, when passengers were attacked in Pahalgam, under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, Operation Sindoor was conducted, entering Pakistan to eliminate the terrorists. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji connected the poor with facilities, secured the country, and carried out several works for Bihar as well. Earlier, the NDA government, under the leadership of Shri Nitish Kumar Ji and Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, provided 125 units of free electricity to 1.67 crore families. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar Ji tripled the pension for the elderly, widows, and differently-abled, raising the fixed amount to ₹1,100 and transferred ₹10,000 into the account of every Jeevika Didi. Now, it takes no more than five hours to reach almost every corner of Bihar. Before our government came to the Saran division, migration was common, and incidents of kidnapping and ransom were frequent. Now, several engineering and medical colleges have been established, along with the construction of roads and pathways. All these works have been carried out by the Bharatiya Janata Party and the NDA government.
Shri Shah stated that the public should remain alert and aware, as the name of Shahabuddin’s son is on the Rashtriya Janata Dal’s list. If the RJD still gives a ticket to Shahabuddin’s son, can Bihar remain safe? To keep Bihar safe, the combination of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Bihar’s Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar will have to be brought again. In this region, a six-lane bridge parallel to JP Setu is being constructed at a cost of ₹2,860 crore. A double-decker flyover is being built in Chhapra at a cost of ₹700 crore. Work is underway to construct a four-lane road from Chhapra to Gopalganj. The Mazi Baroli road connecting Chhapra, Siwan, and Gopalganj is being widened. The Chhapra-Sonpur-Hajipur corridor is also under construction. Engines manufactured at the Madhubani railway engine factory are being exported to African countries. The construction of a 500-bed modern medical college in Chhapra has been completed. A 50-bed sub-divisional hospital in Madhubani has been inaugurated, and the campus of a government medical college is under construction at a cost of ₹40 crore. The construction of Amba Bhavani Temple is underway at a cost of approximately ₹17 crore. Amidst this wave of development, if even one seat from these constituencies mistakenly goes to the RJD, Jungle Raj will return.
Shri Shah said that the people of the Chhapra division want development, not Jungle Raj. Lalu Prasad, Rahul, and their company cannot deliver development. The people of Bihar should trust the NDA; we will not allow Jungle Raj to return, and it will not be permitted in Bihar. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji is determined to make Bihar a Viksit Bihar, and only an NDA government can achieve this. Rahul and Lalu’s company cannot do it. The people of Bihar should vote freely for all NDA parties and ensure their victory with a massive majority. Shri Shah, thanking the people of Saran, said that despite nominations, such a large number of people turned up, indicating that the NDA government is set to return to power in Bihar. Shri Amit Shah urged the people to vote for BJP candidates from the Taraiya and Amnour constituencies to ensure the formation of the NDA government in Bihar, strengthening the leadership of Shri Nitish Kumar and the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
