The TMC government has become a symbol of anarchy: Nitin Nabin

Hon’ble Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Nitin Nabin addressed a massive public meeting in Alipurduars, West Bengal on Wednesday and called upon the people to uproot the All India Trinamool Congress from West Bengal and form a BJP government in the state. During the event, BJP MP Shri Manoj Tigga, BJP candidate from Alipurduar Shri Paritosh Das, along with other office bearers and leaders, were present on the stage.

Shri Nabin stated that today a single voice is emerging from every household in West Bengal, that this time people want the BJP’s lotus symbol and security for both the state and the nation. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji holds a special place in his heart for the people of West Bengal. West Bengal was once the pride of India, known for its rich legacy of development, trade, industry, art, and culture. However, for a long time, those in power have hindered progress in all these sectors. First, the state suffered under the rule of the Indian National Congress, then under the Left, and now the All India Trinamool Congress has also negatively impacted Bengal’s heritage and culture. The current government led by Mamata Banerjee represents the most severe setback, affecting the state’s identity, spirit, and demography. The time has come to completely uproot the Mamata Banerjee government.

Hon’ble BJP National President said that there was a time when Mamata Banerjee spoke about “Maa, Maati, Manush,” but after coming to power, the situation in West Bengal has changed drastically. The safety of women has deteriorated, citing incidents from Sandeshkhali to the RG Kar Medical College case, and from Park Street to Kamduni, which the entire country has witnessed. The state’s soil and demographic balance have been adversely affected, and accused the government of giving the rights of the people of West Bengal to Bangladeshi infiltrators. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, a double-engine government in West Bengal will work to restore demographic balance and identify and remove such infiltrators. Today in West Bengal, “Maa, Maati, and Manush” all three are unsafe.

Shri Nabin asserted that today in West Bengal, laborers are forced to work under extremely difficult conditions. While in other parts of the country workers receive more than ₹500 as daily wages, in many places in West Bengal they are compelled to work for as little as ₹150 to ₹200 per day, and despite this, the state government is not paying attention to their plight. The government led by Mamata Banerjee is forcing local people to migrate, while opening routes for Bangladeshi infiltrators and facilitating their settlement. In the coming time, migration will be stopped, and just like in other states where workers earn more than ₹500 per day, laborers in West Bengal will also be ensured dignified employment and fair wages. Currently for the TMC government, “T” stands for Tolabaazi and Tushtikaran, “M” stands for Mafia rule and Mahilaon par Atyachar, and “C” stands for corruption and cut money, calling this the true nature of TMC.

Hon’ble said that the mafia rule of the Trinamool Congress, atrocities against women, appeasement, corruption, and the “cut money” system must be uprooted, as only then can peace return and new avenues of development open in the state. Instead of focusing on development, TMC leaders have created what he described as a series of scams, including the Saradha scam, Narada scam, teacher recruitment scam, SSC scam, ration scam, municipal recruitment scam, and coal smuggling cases. Even relief materials were misused under the current government led by Mamata Banerjee. The so-called “Bhaipo model” associated with her nephew has become a means of extracting money from the poor through “cut money” and exploitation. Once a Bharatiya Janata Party and NDA government is formed, such practices will be completely stopped and those involved will face legal consequences.

Shri Nabin stated that today in West Bengal, youth study, work hard, and earn degrees, but when they go for jobs, their certificates are rejected, and they are told that merit will not prevail, while those connected to TMC syndicates are given employment. Such syndicates, which deprive the youth of West Bengal of their rights, will be eliminated. People are aware of why the state’s education minister had gone on a “pilgrimage,” referring to the ₹1,600 crore scam and the recovery of around ₹50 crore from the residence of Partha Chatterjee, due to which he was jailed. Those who have pushed the future of youth and students into darkness will certainly be punished in the coming time. The people of West Bengal have decided that in this election, the public itself will fight. For a long time, the elections in West Bengal have been centered around two issues on one side, fear and corruption under the current government, and on the other, a government of trust under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, which brings development and energy along with hope.

Hon’ble BJP National President said that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself is a woman, but she should be questioned about her stance on the Women’s Reservation under the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, through which the government led by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji is providing 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies. The bill has already been passed by both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha and now needs to be implemented. If Mamata Banerjee considers herself a true well-wisher of women, she should openly support this reservation, as that would demonstrate her commitment to women’s empowerment. While promises were made to women, after coming to power, the government caused the most difficulties for women.

Shri Nabin stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party has placed clear commitments before the people of West Bengal. Once a BJP government is formed in the state, the promise of implementing the Seventh Pay Commission for employees will be fulfilled. Vacant government posts across various departments will be filled immediately, and youth affected by recruitment scams will be given a relaxation of five years in the age limit as compensation. Job-related scams will be exposed, and those who have played with the future of youth and students will be sent to jail. A transparent examination system will be developed to ensure that students and youth do not face any difficulties in the future. West Bengal was once known for employment through tea gardens, but today, North Bengal is suffering due to the condition of tea estates. The most injustice to tea garden workers has been done under the government of Mamata Banerjee, and that the region’s economy has been severely affected. The area was once known for the “three Ts” tea, tourism, and timber which provided employment, revenue, and prosperity, but claimed that the current government has damaged these sectors, pushing people towards economic hardship.

Hon’ble BJP National President said that just as the BJP and NDA governments have worked to uplift tea garden communities in Assam and other states, similar efforts will be undertaken in West Bengal. Plantation workers will be connected to schemes related to education, healthcare, land ownership rights, and Ayushman Bharat, and all possible steps will be taken to increase their daily wages and improve their quality of life. During his visits across West Bengal, a common sentiment is being heard everywhere, that this time the lotus will bloom. This growing public support for the BJP is becoming a warning for TMC. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has always emphasized that those who have harassed and exploited the people of West Bengal will be held accountable and no one will be spared.

Taking a dig at the TMC, Shri Nabin stated that recently the Chief Justice had to remark on the administrative system of West Bengal, stating that it has become a symbol of anarchy. When the term “Maha Jungle Raj” was used earlier, the government had objected, but when a High Court in Bihar had termed the situation as “Jungle Raj,” the people eventually voted that government out. Now that the judiciary itself is raising concerns about governance in West Bengal, the people are ready to teach the government a lesson. When the names of 50–60 lakh alleged Bangladeshi infiltrators were being removed through SIR, Mamata Banerjee went to Delhi wearing a black coat and approached the courts. However, when injustice was done to the mothers and sisters of the state, she did not show the same sensitivity or approach the judiciary for justice. If Mamata Banerjee has more faith in Bangladeshi infiltrators than in the people of West Bengal, then this time the people of the state will not place their trust in her and will give a strong response.

Shri Nabin noted that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has provided dozens of trains to West Bengal and undertaken the redevelopment of 101 railway stations. The first Vande Bharat sleeper train from Guwahati to Kolkata has been introduced under his leadership. While people across the country have been benefiting from the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the state government in West Bengal had prevented its implementation. However, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has resolved to extend the benefits of Ayushman Bharat to the people of West Bengal in the coming time, ensuring health insurance coverage for poor families. The Varanasi–Kolkata Corridor will open new avenues of development. From the hills of Darjeeling to the islands of Sundarbans, from the tea gardens of North Bengal to the streets of Kolkata, a single voice is emerging, “We want change.” This wave of change, the results on May 4 will bring a new celebration across the state. Shri Nabin expressed confidence that with the blessings of the people, a double-engine government will be formed in West Bengal, and the current government, which he termed anarchic and corrupt, will be removed.

Hon’ble BJP National President asserted that under the government led by Mamata Banerjee, Alipurduar has witnessed not development but decline, and instead of light, there has been darkness. Alipurduar will be transformed into a gateway of development, ensuring that progress and light reach every household. The commitment of BJP is to bring development and prosperity to every home. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, new dimensions of development are being established across the country. Referring to West Bengal’s historical legacy, he noted that it is the same land that gave birth to ‘Vande Mataram’ and showed the path to drive out the British. However, the same ‘Vande Mataram’ has been disrespected by MPs of TMC. People to raise their voice against such actions and the mindset behind them. Just as ‘Vande Mataram’ once became the voice of freedom against colonial rule, it should now resonate again to bring change in West Bengal. Appealing to the people of Alipurduar, he urged them to ensure the victory of the local BJP candidate and to uproot the TMC government, paving the way for the formation of a BJP government in the state.
