BJP National President addresses an intellectual meet in Hazipur (Bihar)
In an address at an intellectual meet in Hajipur, Vaishali district, Bihar, on 24 October 2025, BJP National President and Union Minister Shri JP Nadda highlighted Bihar’s progress under the NDA government and criticized the RJD for its past “jungle raj”. Shri Nadda recalled his personal connection to the state, sharing that he was born in Patna in 1960 and spent his childhood there.
He said the opposition INDIA bloc wants to form the next government in Bihar “with the help of votes of infiltrators”. He stated that the process of “detecting, deleting, and deporting” infiltrators, which has started in Bihar, would be implemented across the country.
Speaking to the intellectuals, Shri Nadda said now the opposition parties were not talking about ‘vote chori’ allegations, after the Election Commission sought affidavits to support the charges. “The opposition had objected to the special intensive revision of electoral rolls in Bihar… because they want to form a government based on votes of infiltrators. The NDA-led government will never allow that to happen… The opposition stands totally exposed now, as they have no evidence to back their claims,” he asserted.
Shri Nadda slammed the RJD and said the Lalu Prasad-led party stands for ‘Rangdari’ (extortion), ‘Jungle Raj’ (anarchy) and ‘Dadagiri’ (intimidation). The BJP National President stated that Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar made Bihar free from ‘jungle raj’ in the last 20 years.
NDA government has done a lot for the state
“Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Shri Nitish Kumar, people of Bihar are witnessing growth. Bihar is continuously developing,” he said.
“The NDA government has done a lot for the state in recent years. The rail budget for Bihar has also been substantially increased,” he said.
The BJP National President credited the NDA government with bringing significant development to Bihar and working for the progress of all sections of society. He cited major infrastructure projects such as flyovers and bridges, including the Mahatma Gandhi Setu.
Economic progress
He mentioned the establishment of a Makhana Board to increase farmers’ incomes and GST exemptions to help Bihar’s products, like Madhubani paintings, reach international markets.
He noted that the NDA government operates on the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”. He appealed to the intellectual community to support the BJP and its NDA allies to ensure the return of the NDA government in Bihar.
Earlier, he held two important organizational meetings in Patna and reviewed the BJP’s preparations for the Bihar Assembly elections. Many senior BJP leaders, Members of Parliament, and other leaders were present at the event.
