Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 14 April 2025 paid rich tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, acknowledging his enduring influence on India’s ongoing pursuit of social justice.
Taking to social media platform X, the Prime Minister said that Ambedkar’s ideals continue to inspire the nation in building a self-reliant and developed India.
“On behalf of all the countrymen, I bow down to Bharat Ratna Pujya Babasaheb on his birth anniversary. It is due to his inspiration that the country is dedicatedly engaged in realizing the dream of social justice today. His principles and ideals will give strength and momentum to the creation of an ‘Atmanirbhar’ and ‘Viksit’ India,” PM Shri Modi posted.
To mark the occasion, the Prime Minister also launched multiple development projects in Haryana. The Prime Minister flagged off a commercial flight from Hisar to Ayodhya and lay the foundation stone of various development initiatives in Yamuna Nagar and address a public gathering.
