BJP National President listens ‘Mann ki Baat’ in Gurugram (Haryana)
BJP National President and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda on 29 June 2025 listened to the 123rd episode of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s popular programme “Mann Ki Baat” along with BJP Karyakartas in Sohna (Gurugram), Haryana. On this occasion, he was joined by Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini, Haryana BJP State President Shri Mohan Lal Badoli, along with several BJP MPs, MLAs, office bearers, and party Karyakartas. After listening to the programme, Shri Nadda also distributed Ayushman Cards to senior citizens above 70 years of age to ensure better health coverage
BJP National President and Union Minister Shri JP Nadda, in a post on social media platform X, said that Hon’ble Prime Minister spoke about the enthusiastic participation of people across the world on International Yoga Day, highlighted the mythological significance of various historic and religious pilgrimages being carried out in the country, and remembered the democracy warriors while marking 50 years of Emergency as ‘Constitution Killing Day’. He also shared inspiring thoughts on the innovations being undertaken by the people in Meghalaya and Bodoland.
The BJP National President expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for this heartfelt communication that unites the nation and guides it on the path of building a ‘Viksit Bharat’.
“India has been declared Trachoma-free”
Shri Nadda said Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in today’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’, highlighted that “India has been declared Trachoma-free”. He described this as a testament to the power of India’s public health system and collective effort. The declaration by the World Health Organization marks the elimination of a disease that was once a major cause of blindness. This is a proud milestone for India. Thanks to the policies, schemes, and effective implementation under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the nation is steadily moving toward a healthier, disease-free future.
In his post on X, Shri Nadda also stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi once again emphasized that building a healthy India begins with small, mindful choices at home. The Prime Minister appealed to all citizens to participate in the “10% Less Oil Challenge” — calling for a 10% reduction in the use of cooking oil. This initiative aims to protect people from lifestyle diseases like obesity, diabetes, and heart ailments. Shri Nadda urged BJP Karyakartas and all citizens to come together to promote this effort and turn it into a true mass movement for better health.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s popular ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program is heard across every corner of the country — even in its remotest villages. This radio program is broadcast in 22 Indian languages and 29 dialects, along with 11 foreign languages including French, Chinese, Indonesian, Tibetan, Burmese, Balochi, Arabic, Pashto, Persian, Dari, and Swahili. The Mann Ki Baat program is aired from more than 500 broadcasting centers of All India Radio. In this edition, Shri Narendra Modi also spoke about his interaction with Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, who recently reached the International Space Station. Shri Modi also urged people to buy and promote local products and spoke about the magnificent images of people performing yoga across the country on International Yoga Day.
