Shri Tasaso Yun from Arunachal Pradesh joined ABVP at the age of 25. He started working in RSS Shakha from 1965 onwards. He volunteered to participate in a meeting of the Jana Sangh party on 06 August 1967, and he joined the BJP on 01 February 1981 at Matunga Bombay.

Shri Tasaso Yun served as a Zila Parishad member for a period of 15 years.
As of 02 December 1985 Shri Yun became a life time member of the Bharatiya Janata Party at Guwahati.
