On Budget 2026-27 in Gandhinagar (Gujarat)
BJP National President Shri Nitin Nabin addressed leading industrialists, chartered accountants, and entrepreneurs at the ‘Budget Meet’ held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, on 20 February 2026. Praising the state’s industry, investment climate, innovation, and model of good governance, Shri Nitin Nabin said under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, both the country and Gujarat are setting new benchmarks of development. Shri Nitin Nabin stated that the recently presented budget is a visionary roadmap that accelerates the goal of a Viksit Bharat, guided by strong financial management, transparent governance, and the spirit of “Nation First.”
New spirit of entrepreneurship has emerged
BJP National President mentioned that he was pleased to see that under the vision of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, a new spirit of entrepreneurship has emerged among mothers and sisters. Through the formation of Self-Help Groups and the vision of promoting women entrepreneurs, the Prime Minister is continuously taking initiatives to strengthen and empower half of the population. ‘Lakhpati Didi’ is not merely a phrase, but a process aimed at enhancing the self-respect and dignity of women. Gujarat’s women have played a major role in the most successful Self-Help Group experiments.
