VISHWANATH RAI

     Shri Vishwanath Rai was associated with the Bharatiya Jana Sangh in Bihar from the very beginning. He had taken active part in the JP Movement of 1974, and was imprisoned during the 1975 Emergency. In 1980, he contested elections from Rajpur (S.) under BJP, and became an MLA from Rajpur(S.) in 1985. After serving the organisation for a long time he died on 24 July 2016.
