Rally in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir
Union Home and Cooperative Minister Shri Amit Shah said on 21 September 2024 that the voter turnout in the first phase of the assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir is a testament to the transformation happening in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a public rally in Rajouri, Shri Amit Shah said the Congress National Conference and People’s Democratic Party are responsible for all the chaos and issues in the Union Territory.
“The voter turnout in the first phase of elections is a testament to the transformation happening in Jammu and Kashmir, and the strengthening of democracy in the state. Congress, NC and PDP seized the rights of people here for years by not conducting elections. The Congress, NC and PDP are responsible for all the chaos and issues in Jammu and Kashmir. There was no reservation for the Gurjar and Bakarwal communities. Nor was it provided to OBCs and Dalits. There were no signs of development, and the Gandhis, Abdullahs brought nothing but dissatisfaction and deterioration in the state,” Shri Shah said.
Shri Shah also emphasized that this is the first election happening after the abrogation of Article 370 and after the reservation was granted to Dalits, backward classes, Gujjars, Bakarwals, and Pahadis.Targeting the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks in the USA on the reservation, Shri Shah said that as long as the BJP is there, no one can even touch it.

No Agniveer would be jobless after serving in the forces
Public meeting in Loharu, Haryana
While campaigning for the Haryana Assembly polls on 17 September 2024, Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his criticism of the Agnipath military recruitment scheme and the Article 370 stance of his party’s ally in Jammu and Kashmir.
Beginning his address at Loharu with Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Jai Shri Ram, he asked the crowd to shout both slogans so loud that the noise should reach Pakistan, which is 662 km away.
In his address, Shri Shah praised Haryana for the number of soldiers who serve in the armed forces, Green Revolution and the medals won in Olympics and Paralympics. “In the last 10 years, Modiji ensured development for farmers, sportspersons and everybody else,” he said. Shri Shah also launched a scathing attack on former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
“From here, I would like to ask Hooda sahib. Haryana is a state that sends the maximum number of soldiers to the borders. For several years, they were demanding a one-rank-one-pension scheme. Rajiv Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Manmohan Singh… Nobody gave them OROP. You made Shri Narendra Modi Prime Minister and he gave it to you,” Shri Shah said while seeking a third term for the BJP in the Assembly.
Accusing the Congress of misleading people on the short-term military recruitment scheme, he said no Agniveer would be jobless after serving in the forces for the stipulated time. “I told Chief Minister Nayab Singh Sainiji that everybody is going to get jobs with pensions. Sainiji told me that he would give jobs to all the Agniveers. I would like to caution Hooda & Co to stop spreading lies and misleading people. Whatever I say I do, and whatever Modiji indicates that also happens. I can say it today that whenever any Agniveer returns, he will not stay without a job. It is the responsibility of the BJP,” he said.
Shri Shah also cited several public welfare schemes the BJP government had implemented in Haryana over the past 10 years.
