Yuva Shakti Samaroh in Assam

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah addressed the ‘Yuva Shakti Samaroh’ in Guwahati on 15 March 2026. Shri Shah said the youth congregation is bigger than the public rally of other political parties, as 1.25 lakh youth are present here from 31400 booths. The enthusiasm of the youth is a clear indication that a BJP government is going to be formed here under the leadership of Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma. The government that is going to be formed after the next election is going to have the biggest mandate in Assam ever.

In the last manifesto, we promised to give 1 lakh government jobs, and now when the term has ended, we can see that we have far surpassed our goal and have given jobs to 1.65 lakh youths in a transparent manner without any bribery and without any kind of bias. No kharchi and no parchi have been used in these selection processes, and hence, no one has gone to court. This is an example of how the BJP government runs a government. “I now want to ask Rahul Gandhi what he has done for the youth. Congress had a government in Assam for 15 years, and they did nothing for the youth; rather, their concern always was their own families.”

Congress never respected Assam’s culture, language, and heritage. But this honor came only after the BJP formed a government. During the Congress regime, Assam became a hub of insurgency; hundreds of youths died, including the jawans of the Assam Police. But in 2020 we signed the Bodo Peace Accord, the Karbi Peace Accord in 2021, the Adivasi Peace Accord in 2022, the DNLA Peace Accord in 2023, and the ULFA Peace Accord in 2024. More than 10,800 insurgents have surrendered. Congress made Assam the shelter of infiltrators. We promised to make Assam infiltrator-free.

By having tea and pakoras at the entrance of the House, Rahul Gandhi tried to malign India’s democratic system.

In Assam, 1.65 lakh youths have been given jobs without recommendations or bribes. This is a testament to the BJP’s good governance.

The Congress never respected Assam’s language, culture, and identity.
Modi Ji has given Assam world-class modern infrastructure such as the Bogibeel Bridge, Dhola–Sadiya Bridge, AIIMS, IIM, and the Silchar Expressway.

The Modi government has ended the restive image of Assam created during the Congress era by signing peace accords with Bodo, Karbi, Adivasi groups, DNLA, and ULFA.

By laying the foundation stone of a semiconductor factory in Assam, Modi Ji has opened new avenues of development for the youth of Assam and the Northeast.

The Congress turned Assam into a haven for infiltrators, whereas the Modi government has freed 1.51 lakh bighas of land from infiltrators in the same Assam.

The BJP will identify and deport infiltrators who were legalized, formalized, and normalized by the Congress.

No matter how much Rahul Gandhi opposes it, infiltrators will be identified and deported once the BJP government is formed in Assam.
The Modi government has enabled the Ahom, Chutia, Moran, Koch, Rajbongshi, and tea tribes of Assam to become landowners, ensuring them a life of dignity.

PM Shri Modi has ensured the dignity and security of 3.5 lakh tea garden workers by granting them land rights and providing financial assistance of Rs. 5,000.
