BJP National President’s Gujarat Pravas
In a significant step towards strengthening the party’s organizational framework, BJP National President Shri Nitin Nabin undertook a three-day Pravas to Gujarat from February 20 to 22, 2026. Notably, this was his first visit to the state after assuming the party’s highest organizational responsibility.
Shri Nabin arrived at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, on February 20, where senior leaders and Karyakartas accorded him a grand welcome. He chaired a crucial meeting with BJP MPs and MLAs of Gujarat, reviewing organizational and developmental priorities.
Later, in Gandhinagar, he addressed a ‘Budget Meet’ and interacted with leading industrialists, chartered accountants, and entrepreneurs. The day concluded with a significant Cabinet meeting and dinner hosted at the Gujarat Chief Minister’s residence.
On February 21, Shri Nabin offered prayers at Nagardevi Shri Bhadrakali Mata Temple in Bhadra. He also visited the iconic Sabarmati Riverfront and had breakfast with social leaders at the residence of MLA Shri Babubhai J. Patel in Bopal. He then visited the BJP State Office, Shree Kamalam, for extensive discussions with State Office Bearers, Morcha Presidents, and District and City leadership. Further engaging with young leaders, he addressed the “Young Voice Summit” at GIFT City. The day culminated in a massive Booth Level Karyakarta Sammelan at GMDC Ground Hall in Ahmedabad, energizing grassroots workers and reinforcing the party’s organizational strength.
On the final day, Shri Nitin Nabin interacted with senior state leaders over breakfast and joined party Karyakartas to listen to Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s iconic radio programme, Mann Ki Baat, at Barrownet Heritage Haveli in Khadia, Ahmedabad. The three-day Pravas concluded on a high note, further consolidating the BJP’s organizational momentum and reinforcing its connection with leaders, Karyakartas, and society at large.
Abhinandan Samaroh in Ahmedabad
Addressing the Abhinandan Samaroh in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on 20 February 2026, BJP National President Shri Nitin Nabin credited the hard work of Gujarat Party Karyakartas for the success of “Viksit Gujarat” and called for full preparedness for the 2027 and 2029 elections, appealing to work with the mantra of “Seva Hi Dharma”.
Shri Nabin highlighted that Gujarat has witnessed sustained development under BJP governments for a long time. BJP leadership has connected every village and every town of Gujarat with development-oriented schemes. Today, Gujarat is not only providing direction to the nation but is also guiding the world. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, India is emerging on the global stage with a new and confident identity. Expressing gratitude to the people of Gujarat, Shri Nabin noted that it is because of their blessings and hard work that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi continues to lead the nation forward with determination. The brothers and sisters of Gujarat have demonstrated their capabilities across every field. Gujarat was once known as the birthplace of movements, but its movements have never been limited to change alone; they have also been instruments of development and sources of renewed energy.
BJP National President mentioned that the people of Gujarat do not elect a government merely for Gujarat, nor do they choose only a Chief Minister or the BJP; rather, they provide leadership whose strength is propelling the entire nation forward today. Everyone should connect with the people in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, embrace the spirit of ‘Seva Hi Dharma’, and remain continuously devoted to serving the people of Gujarat in alignment with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s ideals. The party must prepare with full strength for the upcoming elections in 2027 and 2029. Even today, there are forces that have no concern for the security of the nation or its people. Such individuals live only for themselves, whereas BJP Karyakartas are full-time politicians who consistently work among the people. During elections, some part-time politicians may appear, but BJP Karyakartas must build such strong bonds with the public that no space remains for part-time politicians.
On this occasion, he expressed his gratitude to all Karyakartas and the entire state leadership. As the National President of the BJP, Shri Nabin felt deeply honoured by the manner in which his felicitation was organized. He congratulated the people of Gujarat, its citizens, and party Karyakartas for their contribution to Gujarat’s development and, through their efforts, to the nation’s progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
