As part of the ‘KNOW BJP’ initiative, BJP National President and Union Minister Shri JP Nadda, met the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Rt. Hon Christopher Luxon in New Delhi on 18 March 2025.
In the discussion, Shri Nadda provided an overview of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s organizational framework, membership, campaign strategies, and ongoing public welfare initiatives. He highlighted the KNOW BJP initiative and proposed a delegation exchange between the BJP and the New Zealand National Party, which was aimed at fostering greater mutual understanding and exchanging organizational insights.
The conversation also covered India’s progress in healthcare under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, particularly advancements in prenatal and neonatal care, institutional deliveries, and healthcare for the elderly. Shri Nadda suggested that India, with its world-class medical facilities and affordable treatment, could be a prime destination for medical tourism. Additionally, he suggested that sending Indian healthcare professionals to New Zealand could foster knowledge exchange and collaboration, benefitting both nations’ medical sectors
Shri Nadda was accompanied by BJP Foreign Affairs Department In-charge, Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale, during the discussions. Prime Minister Rt Hon Luxon is on an official visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, which also marks his first visit to India in his present capacity.
