BJP National President meets with Amir of the State of Qatar

Bharatiya Janata Party National President and Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilisers, Shri J.P. Nadda, met His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, in New Delhi on 18 February 2025.

During the meeting, Shri Nadda provided an overview of vision and governance on India’s healthcare advancements under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He elaborated on government’s efforts in providing healthcare access and affordable medical care. Shri Nadda also described opportunities in collaboration between Qatar and India in healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. Shri Nadda also thanked H. H. Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani for his support to Indian diaspora in Qatar.

H.H. Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani congratulated Shri Nadda on election victories of BJP in General Elections and state elections and praised PM Shri Narendra Modiji’s vision of development. He concurred with Shri Nadda that there is further scope of collaboration in healthcare sector between India and Qatar. Shri Nadda was accompanied by BJP Foreign Affairs Department In-charge, Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale, during the deliberations.

H.H. Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani is on a State Visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
