BJP’s massive victory in Chhattisgarh civic elections

BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda on 15 February 2025 said that the resounding victory of the BJP in the Chhattisgarh municipal elections is a testament to the trust of the people of Chhattisgarh in the development efforts of the double-engine government under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Nadda expressed his gratitude to the people of Chhattisgarh for this historic victory and extended his heartfelt congratulations to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, State BJP President Shri Kiran Dev, and all BJP karyakartas in the state.

It is noteworthy that elections were held on January 11 2025, for 10 Municipal Corporations, 49 Municipalities, and 113 town councils in Chhattisgarh. In the results announced, the BJP secured victory in all 10 Municipal Corporations, won 35 out of 49 municipalities, and claimed victory in 81 out of 113 town councils, achieving a historic triumph.

Shri Nadda, in a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), stated that the resounding victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Chhattisgarh municipal elections is a testament to the unwavering trust of the people in the welfare-oriented and tribal-friendly schemes being implemented by the double-engine government under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The National President said that the results of the Chhattisgarh local body elections have sent a clear message that under the leadership of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the people of the state have once again endorsed the policies and initiatives of the BJP government led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. Rejecting the Congress, the people of Chhattisgarh have wholeheartedly extended their support to the BJP at the local level as well.
