Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda on 18 February hailed the party’s sweeping victory in the Gujarat local body elections, calling it a testament to the people’s unwavering trust in the developmental initiatives of the double-engine government led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
Shri Nadda extended his warm gratitude to the people of Gujarat and extended congratulations to Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, State BJP President Shri C.R. Paatil, and all BJP karyakartas across the state.
Elections were held on February 16 for 1 Municipal Corporation, 68 Municipalities, and 3 Taluka Panchayats in Gujarat. In the results announced, the BJP claimed victory in the Municipal Corporation of Junagadh, while also achieving a historic win in 60 municipalities and all three Taluka Panchayats, marking a significant triumph across these seats.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), Shri Nadda congratulated Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, BJP State President Shri C.R. Patil, and all the karyakartas of Gujarat BJP on the party’s massive victory in the state’s local body elections. Shri Nadda emphasized that this historic triumph reflects the people’s steadfast belief in the inclusive, development-focused, and welfare-driven policies being implemented in the state under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda expressed that the results of the Gujarat local body elections have delivered a clear message that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the people of Gujarat have once again expressed support towards the policies and initiatives of the BJP government led by Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel. By rejecting the Congress, the people of Gujarat have extended their wholehearted support to the BJP at the local level as well.
