BJP National President and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda released Part-I of the BJP ‘Sankalp Patra’ for the Delhi Assembly elections at the Delhi BJP office on 17 January 2025. Shri Nadda highlighted the achievements made under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the development of Delhi and presented the BJP’s vision for Delhi’s future developments. Shri Nadda strongly criticised Arvind Kejriwal for his false promises and the deception carried out by the AAP. During the event, Delhi BJP In-charge and party’s National Vice-President Shri Baijayant (Jay) Panda, Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva, Election Co-Incharge Shri Atul Garg, Co-Incharge Smt. Alka Gurjar, all Delhi MPs, and senior state party officials were present.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion Shri Nadda said the BJP ‘Sankalp Patra’ for the Delhi Assembly elections will lay the foundation of ‘Viksit Delhi’.
He said the Madhya Pradesh government is providing 1,250 per month to 1 crore 3 lakh women under ‘Mahila Samman’ initiative. Similarly, the Maharashtra government is offering 1,250 per month to 2 crore 40 lakh people. In Chhattisgarh, 1,000 per month is being provided to 70 lakh women. Haryana has decided to provide 2,100 per month to women.
Highlights
• The BJP has committed to providing 2,500 per month to the women of Delhi under the Mahila Samridhi Yojana, and this will be passed in the very first Cabinet meeting.
• Additionally, poor women will receive a subsidy of 500 on cylinders, and one free cylinder will be provided during Diwali and Holi.
• In order to strengthen the Maternity Vandana Yojana, six nutritional kits and 21,000 per pregnant woman will be provided by the Chief Minister.
• The Aam Aadmi Party brought the ‘AAP-da’ to Delhi. In 2021, AAP promised to provide 1,000 per month to women, but this promise was neither fulfilled in Delhi nor in Punjab.
• BJP will implement Ayushman Bharat in both letter and spirit in the first cabinet meeting. Will provide an extra 5 lakh in health coverage, bringing the total coverage to 10 lakh under Ayushman Bharat.
• The BJP government will increase the senior citizen pension for individuals aged 60 to 70 years from 2,000 to 2,500.
• Additionally, the pension for senior citizens above 70 years, as well as for widows and destitute women, will be raised from 2,500 to 3,000.
• PM Shri Modi has approved the 8th Pay Commission. This will provide more power and benefits to our working-class people.
Sankalp Patra Part II
Senior BJP leader and Lok Sabha MP Shri Anurag Thakur released BJP Sankalp Patra Part-II for the Delhi Assembly elections at the Delhi BJP office on 21 January 2025. He outlined in detail the work done for the development of Delhi under the leadership of the PM Shri Narendra Modi and promised welfare and development of the youth of Delhi, workers of the unorganized sector, SC class and auto-taxi drivers.
He said AAP-DA committed a scam of 2026 crores and when the CAG report came, they did not even take that report to the assembly. Why did Arvind Kejriwal, who called the assembly session for 1-2 days to give his speech, not present the CAG report? Why was the 28 thousand crore scam of Delhi Jal Board not discussed? Why were the 65 thousand fake lab tests done in Mohalla Clinic not discussed? During the Covid pandemic, you committed the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ scam, why were these scams not discussed?
Highlights
• On formation of BJP government, SIT will be set up to probe the misgovernance and corruption of Aam Aadmi Party government.
• Free education from KG to PG will be provided to the needy students of Delhi.
• Financial assistance of 15,000 will be given to the youth for preparation of competitive examinations and BJP government will also pay travel and application fees for two attempts.
BJP ‘Sankalp Patra’ for Delhi
• Under ‘Dr B. R. Ambedkar Stipend Scheme’, SC students will be given a stipend of 1,000 per month for technical and professional courses.
• We will form welfare boards for auto-taxi drivers, will get them insured for 10 lakh and will give scholarships to their children pursuing higher education.
• Welfare board will be formed for domestic workers, they will get life insurance of 10 lakh, accident insurance of 5 lakh, scholarship for their children and 6 months paid maternity leave.
• The number of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana will be doubled and 4 lakh street vendors will be given the benefit of this scheme.
Sankalp Patra Part III
Union Home & Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah released the BJP Sankalp Patra Part-III for the upcoming Delhi Assembly Election at the party’s Delhi office, on 25 January 2025. Shri Shah highlighted the developmental works carried out in Delhi under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi, and unveiled BJP’s commitments for refugees, gig workers, and youth in Delhi.
Shri Shah said the Kejriwal-led AAP made so many false promises that they neither have the time to fulfil them nor the willpower and resolution to do so. AAP had promised to shut down liquor shops in residential areas, yet they issued licenses to open shops near temples, gurudwaras, and schools. They also committed a liquor scam worth thousands of crores. Kejriwal had also claimed to clean the Yamuna within 7 years, like London’s Thames River, and said he would take a dip in it, but to this day, the people of Delhi are still waiting for that dip, he said.
Highlights
• The Central government improved the infrastructure in Delhi. A total of 41,000 crore was spent on the construction of various roads. 15,000 crore was allocated for the railways, and 21,000 crore for airports.
• PM Shri Modi has announced granting ownership rights to over 1,700 unauthorized colonies, previously, there was no permission for construction and buy-selling in these colonies.
• There are 13,000 sealed shops in Delhi, and the BJP has initiated a meeting with lawyers to explore judicial options for reopening them.
• A Gig Workers Welfare Board will be established for gig workers.
• BJP government in Delhi to provide Gig workers and textile workers with life insurance coverage of up to 10 lakh and accident insurance of up to 5 lakh. Scholarships and vehicle insurance will also be provided to the children who pursue higher education.
• Will provide financial assistance of 10,000 for skill development toolkits and loans up to 3 lakh for registered workers. Workers will also be given accident insurance coverage of up to 5 lakh.
• 50,000 jobs will be provided to the youth of Delhi transparently, and 20 lakh self-employment opportunities will be created.
• Will establish an integrated public transport network with an investment of 20,000 crore and will convert 13,000 buses into electric buses, making Delhi a 100% e-bus city.
• To promote tourism, the Mahabharat Corridor and Yamuna River Front will be developed.
• The BJP will eliminate manual scavenging 100% and end inhuman treatment.
