Newly constructed Delhi State BJP Office inaugurated

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the newly constructed Delhi State BJP office on 29 September 2025, and addressed the Karyakartas on this occasion. The programme was also addressed by BJP National President Shri JP Nadda, Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta, and Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva. Until now, the Delhi BJP State office was located at 14, Pandit Pant Marg; it has now been shifted to 5, Deendayal Upadhyay Marg

Addressing the Karyakartas, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said the Delhi BJP has received its new office. This is a moment filled with new dreams and new resolutions. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the Delhi BJP Karyakartas.

Hard work of millions of Karyakartas

It has been 45 years since the founding of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The party progressed with the blessings and hard work of many such personalities, including Atal ji, Advani ji, Nanaji Deshmukh, Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia ji, Murli Manohar Joshi ji. But friends, the seed from which the BJP has grown into such a huge banyan tree today was planted in October 1951. At that time, the Jana Sangh was founded under the leadership of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. And during that same period, the Delhi Jana Sangh also got its first president in the form of Vaidya Gurudutt. Advani ji, Dr. Bhai Mahavir ji, and Hardayal Devgun ji continued to lead the Delhi Jana
Sangh from time to time.

When the BJP was founded in 1980, V.K. Malhotra became the first president of the Delhi BJP. The strength that the Delhi BJP enjoys today is the result of the sacrifice and hard work of millions of our Karyakartas over the past decades. Kedar Nath Sahni ji, Sahib Singh Verma ji, Madan Lal Khurana ji, and many other such stalwart leaders showed us an indelible path of service. Many personalities like Arun Jaitley ji and Sushma Swaraj ji dedicated their lives to the party.

Relationship between Delhi and BJP

The relationship between Delhi and the BJP is not just that of a city and a party. It is one of service, culture, and companionship in joys and sorrows. First as the Jana Sangh and then as the BJP, our party has been connected to the heart of Delhi and its interests. Since the founding of the Jan Sangh, we have served the people of Delhi in every way. Jana Sangh workers created rehabilitation facilities for the victims who came to Delhi after Partition. When the Metropolitan Council was formed, leaders like Advani ji and V.K. Malhotra ji became the voice of the people of Delhi. During the Emergency, Jan Sangh leaders, along with the people of Delhi, fought against the oppression of the government. Even during the 1984 Sikh riots, which dealt a terrible blow to the soul of Delhi and humanity, Delhi BJP workers protected our Sikh brothers and sisters in every possible way. The alliance between Delhi and the BJP is one of emotion and trust.

Our government is working hard

The tireless efforts and hard work of Delhi workers in spreading this idea across the country have helped the BJP reach its present position. For us, any BJP office is no less than a shrine or a temple. BJP offices are not just buildings; they are strong links that connect the party to the ground and to the people’s expectations. After a gap of many years, the BJP is in power in Delhi today. The people of Delhi have placed their dreams and hopes for a better future. Our government is working hard to fulfill the expectations of the people of Delhi.

BJP Karyakartas are working with full dedication for a Viksit Bharat: JP Nadda

The BJP National President Shri JP Nadda, on this occasion, highly praised the guidance, support, and vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, stating that the Prime Minister has always given top priority to the organizational development of the party and the welfare of its Karyakartas.

He said through this office, a modern and vibrant contact center of the BJP has been established, which will serve as a centre for organizational training, research, and values for the Karyakartas.

The BJP National President said it is a moment of great happiness for everyone that, after a long wait, the Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party now has its own fully developed and well-equipped office.

Shri Narendra Modi, apart from being the Prime Minister, is also the Pradhan Sevak of the nation. Despite being deeply engaged day and night in the intricacies of the country’s administration, whenever the party has made any request to him, he has always accepted it eagerly and graciously, considering it his duty, Shri Nadda said.

Every moment of his life is dedicated to the nation and the party, and he not only remains committed to improving the living standards of 140 crore Indians and bringing happiness into their lives but also a skilled architect of organization.
Shri Nadda said this new office is equipped with a research facility, including separate arrangements for the media, a library, a conference hall, and meeting facilities, making it fully equipped in every sense.

When the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was the National General Secretary of the BJP, he had clarified that there is a difference between an office and a party office. An office opens only at 10 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m., whereas the office of the Bharatiya Janata Party is a center of life engagement, functioning 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This office is not merely a place to meet, but a center of values, where values are nurtured and Karyakartas get the opportunity to understand the organisation.

Shri Nadda said we are now striving to implement the organizational vision of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, all of us BJP Karyakartas are working with dedication to achieve the goal of building a Viksit Bharat.
