Bihar assembly election 2025 will be held in 2 phases

The first phase of polling will cover 121 Assembly constituencies.

• Last Date for Filing Nominations: October 17, 2025
• Scrutiny of Nominations: October 18, 2025
• Last Date for Withdrawal of Candidature: October 20, 2025
• Polling Date: November 6, 2025
• Counting of Votes: November 14, 2025

Phase 2

The second phase will include 122 Assembly constituencies.
• Notification Date: October 13, 2025
• Last Date for Filing Nominations: October 20, 2025
• Scrutiny of Nominations: October 21, 2025
• Last Date for Withdrawal of Candidature: October 23, 2025
• Polling Date: November 11, 2025
• Counting of Votes: November 14, 2025
The counting of votes for both phases will take place on November 14, 2025.
