BJP National President offers floral tributes to Deendayal ji on his Jayanti and plants saplings
BJP National President and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Home & Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah paid floral tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya ji on his Jayanti at the BJP Central Office in New Delhi on 25 September 2025. BJP National President and Union Home Minister, under the nationwide campaign ‘Seva Pakhwada’ being run by the Party on the occasion of the birthday of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, planted ‘Sindoor’ saplings at the Deendayal Upadhyay Park and expressed their unwavering commitment towards the conservation of nature.
Shri JP Nadda also participated in Shramdaan under the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2025’ campaign. It is to be noted that from 17th September to 2nd October, Bharatiya Janata Party celebrated ‘Seva Pakhwada’ with great enthusiasm across the country, under which various activities related to service, culture, and environment are being carried out.
On the occasion, Shri Nadda said that the entire life of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Ji was dedicated to national service, organization, and the upliftment of Indian culture. His thought of ‘Antyodaya’ will always inspire us to serve the person standing at the last rung of society. Posting on social media platform X, he said, “I bow countless times on his birth anniversary to the blessed son of Maa Bharati, great nationalist thinker, and founding father of Bharatiya Janata Party, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Ji. Revered Deendayal Ji, who remained the highest ideal of personal purity and dignity in public life, presented the great philosophy of ‘Integral Humanism’ for the creation of a strong, prosperous, and capable India on the foundation of Indian culture. His concept of Antyodaya is extremely important in the fulfillment of the resolve of building a “Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat.” His great thoughts and works of national service and public service will always remain a source of inspiration for crores of Karyakartas.”

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah stated that the strong and self-respecting nation envisioned by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Ji through the ideas of Antyodaya and cultural nationalism is today being realized under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Posting on social media X, he wrote, “I bow to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Ji, the founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh and the pioneer of ‘Integral Humanism,’ on his birth anniversary. Through the philosophy of Integral Humanism, Pandit Deendayal Ji considered the individual, society, and nation as an integrated unit and emphasized not only economic progress but also moral and cultural upliftment. Through the Jana Sangh, he provided a political alternative that kept national interest paramount. The principles of ‘Cultural Nationalism’ and ‘Antyodaya’ of Deendayal Ji are inspirational for every patriot.”
