“Yuva Samvad – Youth Dialogue” in Dehradun
BJP National President Shri Nitin Nabin on 30 May 2026, addressed the “Yuva Samvad – Youth Dialogue” describing the youth as the main force of nation‑building, expressed his views on subjects like sports, cleanliness, drug‑free society, politics, startups, and national development. He said under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, sports have been promoted, due to which India’s performance at the international level has improved. Swachh Bharat Mission, construction of 120 million toilets, Startup India, Skill India, and Make in India schemes have instilled confidence among the youth. Shri Nabin, called for social awareness against drugs, women’s safety, participation in politics, and keeping national interest supreme, appealed to the youth to contribute actively to India’s development.
During the program, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami and BJP State President Shri Mahendra Bhatt along with other leaders were also present.
Shri Nitin Nabin mentioned that we have many such Karyakartas whom the people of their locality and village know completely. In such areas, the identity of the BJP is also often associated with the name of that Karyakarta. At the same time, there are some Karyakartas who remain confined to offices and have to tell people that they are BJP Karyakartas. Both types of people move forward in politics, but it is for each person to decide himself which path he wants to follow. I always say one thing, that there are two ways to move forward in politics. The first is that by standing behind a powerful person, one moves forward with the help of his strength and influence.
Such people keep moving forward with the energy and influence of that person, but the day that powerful person becomes weak or falls, on the same day the political journey of those moving forward with his support also begins to end. The second way to move forward in politics is that a person should create so much energy and strength behind himself that he can move forward on the strength of that alone.
When a person creates such power on the basis of his work, dedication, and public support, then on the strength of that energy and strength he moves forward and crosses every obstacle. He said that today’s youth have to decide what kind of politics they want to do.
Shri Nitin Nabin mentioned that if there are 200,000 startups in the country, then they are the result of the efforts of India’s youth and India’s youth is making an important contribution in nation‑building. Many positive changes have taken place in the country after 2014 and now the country is moving forward.
