Rallies in Khunti & Chatra, Jharkhand
BJP senior leader and Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh addressed huge public meetings in Khunti and Chatra in Jharkhand on 09 November 2024. During these rallies, the Defence Minister mentioned the welfare work done by the NDA government for tribal and sharply criticized JMM and Congress for its corruption in Jharkhand.
In his address, Shri Singh said that not only Jharkhand but the whole India can never forget the contribution of Lord Birsa Mundaji. If any party has taken the initiative to honor Lord Birsa Munda at the national stage for the first time, then it is the Bharatiya Janata Party.
He said that Congress leaders are claiming that when our government is formed, we will conduct caste census and we will find out the total number of castes in India. I want to remind the Congress people that in the year 2011, a socio-economic caste census was conducted and about 46 lakh castes, sub-castes and gotras came out in this census. This number was so big that the people who prepared this report at that time did not even make it public.
Attacking the Congress, the Defence Minister said that if the Congress feels that the BJP has not fulfilled any of its promises, then they should come forward with courage and put their side in the court of the people. The BJP will answer each allegation. We can say with full sincerity that whatever promises the Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, and RJD made to the people of India, they never fulfilled them. They only misled the people by giving false assurances.
