BJP National President hoists the national flag at BJP Central Office
Bharatiya Janata Party National President and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda hoisted the national flag at the BJP Central Office in New Delhi on the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day and addressed the gathering on 15 August 2025. After the flag hoisting, Shri Nadda, on behalf of the party and its millions of Karyakartas, extended greetings to the entire nation on the 79th Independence Day. Guide, and provide direction to 1.4 billion Indians
Shri Nadda said today Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort. His message will inspire, guide, and provide direction to 1.4 billion Indians, along with reinforcing the commitment to move forward. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi clearly stated that India will not only remain independent but will also become a prosperous and developed nation. Over the past 11 years, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the country has moved towards becoming a strong and progressive economy. At a time when the world is going through economic crises and turmoil, India is advancing with a stable and robust economy.
Key points to realize the vision of a developed India
The BJP National President, conveying the call of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to party Karyakartas, said that on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, the Prime Minister emphasized three key points to realize the vision of a developed India by 2047.
• First, becoming an Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India), the country’s dependence must end, and self-reliance should be reflected in its ideas, thinking, actions, and direction.
• Second, the promotion of swadeshi: if the nation is to progress, there must be a commitment towards indigenous goods, ideology, and systems. Every citizen should adopt and promote them to contribute to the nation’s development.
• Third, doing away with outdated and burdensome laws that have become inconvenient for the common citizen: to accelerate the pace towards a developed India, it is essential to simplify laws.
Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda urged party Karyakartas to take these resolutions forward and expressed confidence that all Karyakartas would work sincerely in this direction, advance the cause, and fulfil their pledge to make India a prosperous and developed nation with firm determination.
