The event highlighted the achievements of both the state and central governments under the dynamic leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi.
In his address, Shri Amit Shah described the past nine years of BJP governance in Uttarakhand as a “golden period of development.” He credited former Prime Minister ‘Bharat Ratna’ Atal Bihari Vajpayee for the creation of Uttarakhand and said that Prime Minister Shri Modi has been instrumental in shaping its progress and growth. He emphasized that under Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, the state has witnessed rapid and structured development.

He further asserted that efforts would continue across the country—from Kedarnath to Kanyakumari—to identify and deport illegal immigrants. He also highlighted the importance of maintaining accurate voter lists and supported the Election Commission’s efforts to ensure electoral integrity.
Uniform Civil Code (UCC)

Highlighting governance reforms, Shri Shah noted that around 1,900 youths were recruited as police constables through a transparent process without corruption or favoritism, reflecting the government’s commitment to merit-based employment. He praised the state’s anti-cheating law, which has strengthened fairness in recruitment processes.
Socio-economic development
In terms of socio-economic development, Shri Shah noted that Uttarakhand’s per capita income has significantly increased, and its Gross State Domestic Product has nearly doubled over the years. He also listed welfare schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Jal Jeevan Mission, free food grain distribution, Ayushman Bharat health coverage, and Ujjwala Yojana, benefiting millions of residents. Shri Shah contrasted BJP governance with previous Congress governments, accusing them of corruption and mismanagement. He cited past scandals and emphasized that no major corruption allegations have been proven against the BJP governments in the state.
Give the BJP another mandate in the 2027
