‘Karyakarta Samvad’ programme in Shahabad and Begusarai (Bihar)
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah interacted with BJP Karyakartas from all districts of Shahabad and Begusarai division in Bihar on 18 September 2025. Shri Shah said the development and welfare work done in Bihar during the NDA government’s tenure could not have been achieved by Lalu Yadav even if he had been the Chief Minister for his entire life. The development of Bihar is only possible under the leadership of respected Shri Narendra Modi and with an NDA government. BJP State President Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Samrat Choudhary and Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha, and other senior leaders were present on the dais.
Booth president can become the national president
Shri Shah said in all other parties, elections are won by leaders, but in the BJP, elections are won by the party workers. This is why every national leader of the BJP started their journey as a booth-level worker. The foundation of the BJP’s victory lies with the workers at the booth and block levels. The party cannot win unless the booth and block level workers are united and take a firm resolve. Even when I became the National President of BJP, my first responsibility was as the president of a school-level booth.
He said the Bharatiya Janata Party is the only party where a booth president can become the national president. Selected workers from 10 districts have been invited here to take a pledge to form the NDA government again in the coming days. The stronger our resolve, the stronger the BJP and the NDA will be. The stronger the NDA, the more prosperous and developed Bihar will be. The more prosperous Bihar becomes, the more the country will progress. The path to Bihar’s development and prosperity can only be paved by the NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. When Congress and RJD were given a chance to rule here for 20 years, they instead brought an era of extortion and killings.
Country first, then the party
The Union Home and Cooperation Minister said Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is a truly unique leader in the world who has served as the head of state and country for 24 consecutive years. During this long tenure, he never took a single day off, nor any vacation, and continuously served the nation day and night. There are some leaders who cannot sleep if they don’t get a foreign trip within six months, but Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has always prioritized the country. Shri Modi put the country first, then the party, then the party workers, and never thought about his family. For the first time in 60 years, someone has become Prime Minister for the third consecutive term; the country achieved this feat after 30 years.
Party workers should resolve to win
Shri Shah said that all party workers should resolve to ensure that more than 80% of the seats in this region are won by the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies in the upcoming elections, thus strengthening the NDA.
He said what seemed impossible in the last 11 years has become possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was built, fulfilling a long-cherished dream. Article 370 was abrogated, triple talaq was abolished, the CAA law was enacted, a spacecraft was sent to the South Pole of the moon and named ‘Shiv Shakti Point’, and terrorists were targeted in Pakistan through surgical strikes, air strikes, and Operation Sindoor.
