The last eleven years of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership is characterized by a systemic transformation of Indian economy and polity, heralding of an era of new work culture inspired by the vision of ‘Antyodaya’, serving the last man in the society with dignity and empowerment. The overall impact can be seen from the fact that more than 25 crore people have been pulled out of multidimensional poverty in the last eleven years mainly because of his unwavering commitment to uplift the oppressed, deprived, exploited and marginalized sections of the society while creating unlimited opportunities for women and youth. It was possible through multipronged approach including targeted distribution of welfare measures while eliminating the chances of corruption and leakages through JAM based transfers to the beneficiaries. At the same time free distribution of ration for more than 80% of Indian population, large number of innovative Garib Kalyan schemes covering every aspect of poor household’s life along with focused appraoch on farmers, rural economy and agriculture have resulted in miraculous recovery and empowerment of the masses. As a person who has himself risen from a humble background, the Prime Minister not only understands the pains of poverty but works tirelessly to address the vulnerabilities it creates while leading a successful fight against it, making it his mission while showing the path of building a ‘Viksit Bharat’ to meet the aspirations of every Indian.
