Ram Ratan Singh

     While being a Swayamsevak, Shri Ram Ratan Singh was arrested in 1948 at Hisua Chowk along with other Swayamsevaks. In 1962, he was made a Bharatiya Jana Sangh candidate from the Warsaliganj Legislative Assembly.

During the 1975 Emergency, he was detained for 19 months the Central Jail Gaya under the Maintenance of Internal Security Act (MISA). In 1977, after being re-nominated by the Janata Party, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly.

While carrying out the responsibility of the organization, he also performed the duty of being the district president twice. Apart from this, Shri Ram Ratan Singh was also interested in writing poetry.
