BJP National President and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda on 19 November, 2024 attended the special screening of the film “The Sabarmati Report” with journalists at a multiplex in Delhi. Speaking to the journalists on this occasion, Shri Nadda said this is a very unfortunate truth, where 59 people including innocent children, women were burnt alive and it took almost 22 years for this truth to come out in the open. This is an honest effort to put the whole truth of Godhra in front of everyone, for this I appreciate the entire team of “The Sabarmati Report” and congratulate them.

‘UPA tried to hide the truth of
Godhra incident’

Shri Nadda said “The Sabarmati Report” is a film based on truth, it is based on the incident that happened in Godhra, but it was very unfortunate that the Congress led UPA, which practices the politics of appeasement, tried to hide the truth of the Godhra incident and at that time Sonia Gandhi was the chairperson of the UPA. The so-called left liberals also tried to ensure that the truth does not come out. An “eco-system” of the so-called left liberals tried its best to bury it. Shri Nadda requested the people of the country to definitely watch “The Sabarmati Report” to know how the Godhra incident happened and how the karsevaks were burnt alive.

The BJP National President said everyone knows very well that the Sabarmati Express did not catch fire in Godhra, but was set on fire. Although, the Congress-led UPA governments and the so-called liberal community had committed the heinous sin of hiding this truth, which is one of the biggest crimes against humanity.
