BJP National President had a fruitful interaction with the Singapore delegation

As part of the ‘Know BJP’ initiative, a sixteen-member delegation of senior leaders from the ruling People’s Action Party (PAP), Singapore met the BJP National President and Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilisers Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda at the BJP HQ in New Delhi on 19 November 2024.

The PAP delegation was led by Senior Minister of State for Communication and Information & health Dr Janil Puthucheary, and comprised of three Ministers, and four Members of Parliament, among others.

Shri Nadda discussed BJP’s historical evolution, organizational structure, and the contributions of its dedicated Karyakartas especially at the grassroots levels. Key aspects of the party’s efforts toward socio-economic development, empowerment initiatives, and its commitment to inclusive growth were shared. The interaction concluded with a mutual commitment to exploring opportunities for future partnerships in areas of shared interest.

BJP Foreign Affairs Department In-charge Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale was also present in the meeting.

Noteworthy, the sixteen-member PAP delegation was on a visit to India at the invitation of BJP from 17 to 21 November, as part of the KNOW BJP initiative. During their visit, apart from the meeting with BJP National President the PAP delegation also met other senior BJP leaders in New Delhi. The primary objective of this visit is to enhance party-to-party relations between the BJP and the PAP, and to provide the delegation with a deeper understanding of the BJP’s structure, functioning, and future vision.
