Addressing the ‘Intellectuals’ Meeting’ organized in Ranchi, Shri Nitin Nabin said the central government is working with the goal of farmers’ welfare, agricultural reforms, and increasing their income. The BJP National President mentioned that initiatives like organic farming, Ayushman Bharat, Jan Dhan Yojana, Digital India, Startup, and Mudra Yojana are playing an important role in empowering the poor, farmers, women, and youth of the country.
Shri Nabin said farmers remain the backbone of India and that the government is focused on agricultural welfare, reforms, and increasing farmers’ incomes. He highlighted efforts to promote natural and organic farming, improve agricultural sustainability, and maintain continuous dialogue with farmers. According to him, the government aims not merely to treat farmers as beneficiaries but as partners in India’s development journey.
Discussing welfare initiatives, he cited schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, Jan Dhan Yojana, Digital India, Startup India, and Mudra Yojana as transformative measures that have empowered the poor, women, youth, and farmers. He noted that Ayushman Bharat has provided health security to millions of families, reducing the burden of medical expenses. Similarly, Jan Dhan accounts and Direct Benefit Transfer have ensured that government benefits reach beneficiaries directly,
BJP National President Shri Nitin Nabin in a two-day visit to Jharkhand from 06 June 2026. During the visit, he participated in a series of organisational meetings and interacted with elected representatives, office bearers, intellectuals and Party karyakartas aimed at strengthening the BJP’s organisational structure and expanding public outreach across the state. During the programme, Jharkhand BJP State President Shri Aditya Sahu, Leader of Opposition in Jharkhand Shri Babulal Marandi, Union Ministers Smt. Annapurna Devi and Shri Sanjay Seth along with other leaders were present
minimizing leakages and corruption.
On youth empowerment, he said the government has encouraged entrepreneurship through Startup India and Mudra loans, enabling young people to become job creators rather than merely job seekers. He pointed to the growth of startups and unicorns as evidence of India’s emerging entrepreneurial strength and innovation-driven economy.
Women’s empowerment formed a major part of his address. He praised initiatives such as Self-Help Groups, the Lakhpati Didi program, Ujjwala Yojana, and the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam. He reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring greater political representation for women and fulfilling the promise of 33 percent reservation.
Concluding his address, Shri Nabin said that the Modi government has transformed the atmosphere of the country from despair to hope and confidence. He called upon India’s youth to engage in positive politics, innovation, and nation-building, asserting that their contribution will be crucial in achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047.
