BJP National Working President chaired several key organisational meetings in Puducherry
BJP National Working President Shri Nitin Nabin reached Puducherry on 20 December 2025 for a two-day visit, marking his first official visit after assuming charge as the BJP’s National Working President. He arrived via Chennai, where he was accorded a rousing welcome at Chennai Airport by a large number of BJP Karyakartas along with Tamil Nadu State BJP President Shri Nainar Nagendran, State BJP General Secretaries & Union Minister of State Shri L. Murugan. This also marked his first visit to Tamil Nadu after taking charge. He thanked BJP Karyakartas of Tamil Nadu for their overwhelming support and expressed confidence in the party’s victory in the upcoming elections.
Then, Shri Nabin reached Puducherry, where he first paid his respects by garlanding the statues of Mahakavi Bharathiyar and Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. After that, he held a meeting with the BJP’s state core committee to review organisational preparedness and strengthen outreach efforts. He also addressed a Shakti Kendra Sammelan and interacted with professionals. His first visit after being appointed as the BJP’s National Working President is to Puducherry, underscoring the party’s strong focus on South India. He was accorded a warm and enthusiastic welcome by State BJP President Shri V P Ramalingam, State BJP General Secretaries, BJP leaders, and party Karyakartas, reflecting strong organisational unity and morale. Shri Nitin Nabin thanked party Karyakartas for their dedicated support and lauded their tireless efforts, organisational discipline, and unwavering commitment at the grassroots level, which he said have played a key role in strengthening the party and expanding its reach among the people.
Take development forward
Shri Nabin called upon party Karyakartas to make South India a stronghold of the BJP, strengthen the party’s presence across the region, and take development forward. The discussions focused on organisational expansion, booth-level preparedness, and enhancing outreach among different sections of society to further consolidate the party’s base.

Highlighting the BJP’s broader vision, Shri Nitin Nabin emphasised that the Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to firmly consolidating its presence in South India and aims to ensure the formation of BJP-led NDA governments in the upcoming elections. He underlined the party’s focus on promoting development, good governance, and inclusive growth across the region under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, while strengthening organisational structures at every level. Shri Nabin expressed confidence in the collective efforts and dedication of party Karyakartas, acknowledging their crucial role in mobilising support and reaching out to the people. He concluded by thanking all leaders and workers for their unwavering commitment and active participation in advancing the party’s mission.
