VIKASITA KERALAM ROADMAP’ 2026 RELEASED

Unveiling its roadmap for the upcoming Kerala Assembly Elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party has released a high-profile manifesto centred on the tagline “Viksit Keralam” on 31 March 2026. The manifesto, released by BJP National President Shri Nitin Nabin in the presence of BJP State President Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar and other alliance leaders, also prioritises massive infrastructure and welfare initiatives.

The manifesto, released by BJP National President, promised a high-speed railway network connecting the state capital with Kannur, 20,000 litres of free water for every household, and “water for Tamil Nadu and safety for Kerala” concerning the Mullaperiyar dam.

In his speech, after releasing the manifesto, Shri Nabin said that decades of successive LDF and UDF governments in Kerala resulted in “negligible industrial growth, economic stagnation and fiscal misgovernance in the state”. He said the people had paid a heavy price due to the “match-fixing games” played by the two fronts.

BJP National President said, “As we present our manifesto today, we must remember that despite immense natural and human potential, Keralam has witnessed negligible industrial growth during the LDF-UDF’s multiple years of misrule, resulting in severe economic stagnation and fiscal misgovernance”.

Key promises include
