As the ‘Dhwajarohan Utsav’ at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya takes place with the ceremonial hoisting of the “Dharma Dhwaj,” a saffron divine flag symbolising Lord Rama’s dharma and the formal completion of the temple’s construction, the momentous occasion gets inscribed in the history in golden letters. This historic event led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, marks the spiritual activation of the temple and its transformation into a sovereign divine abode. The Dhwajarohan signifies not only the architectural completion but also the cultural and spiritual resurgence linked to the centuries-old Ram Janmabhoomi movement, embodying a renewed sense of civilizational identity and continuity. It is considered by some priests as a “second consecration,” activating all 44 doors of the temple for ceremonies and symbolizing the triumph of dharma and resilience. While saying that India is the mother of democracy and that democracy is in our DNA, the Prime Minister has called upon the people to awaken ‘Rama’ within ourselves so that the society is empowered and the path of ‘Viksit Bharat’ is paved.

Social Security, and Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions. These reforms build on the NDA Government’s decade of strong employment growth, formalizing universal wage protections, expanding social security to gig and platform workers, and modernizing industrial relations with balanced protections and operational flexibility. The Codes also enhance workplace safety through a unified framework and streamline compliance by shifting to civil penalties and digitized processes, creating a supportive environment for business growth without compromising worker rights. With provisions for mandatory appointment letters, wage parity, and expanded female workforce participation, these Laws promote inclusion, transparency, and a future-ready labour ecosystem. Effective from November 21, 2025, the full operational impact will unfold as states notify rules and central boards establish governance structures, with phased implementation ensuring a smooth transition while legacy laws continue temporarily. This reform sets a foundation for safer workplaces, fair pay, and a more competitive industrial climate aligned with India’s evolving labour market and economic aspirations. These labour reforms are set to create a modern, efficient and inclusive labour ecosystem which will not only power the economic growth of the country with the aim of achieving self reliance but also make the welfare of the labourers as one of the prime objectives of the new regime.
