The people of Bihar have given their verdict and that too emphatically. A verdict clearly and overwhelmingly in favour of NDA, once again strongly approving the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, is set to accelerate the journey of the state towards ‘Viksit Bihar’. The National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) resounding victory in Bihar’s 2025 assembly elections—securing 202 out of 243 seats with an exceptional 83 percent strike rate, represents far more than a normal electoral mandate. It constitutes a decisive mandate for welfare-driven governance, women’s empowerment, and inclusive growth which is destined to reshape Bihar’s development trajectory for generations to come. The electorate of Bihar, known for their high level of political awareness and understanding, have once again shown their maturity in delivering a decisive mandate which is a message to the entire nation that political of performance, good governance and development will always receive massive support and countless blessings from the people. It is a mandate which blesses the vision of ‘Viksit Bihar’ and strengthens the national resolve for ‘Viksit Bharat’.

atmosphere of fear and negativity but sought to create multiple wedges in the society. The Mahagathabandhan, which proved to be ‘Mahalathbandhan’ in real sense, had neither any positive vision for the state nor any agenda for Bihar. As per their belief that negative politics can make people sway in their favour, the Mahagathbandhan tried to play negative politics shorn of any vision for the state. The negativity of RJD combined with the negativity of Congress resulted in double negativity for the Mahagathbandhan itself leading to its decisive decimation. As the Mahagathbandhan could win only 35 seats, reducing the RJD to merely 25 seats, the people of Bihar have completely rejected the regressive politics and their negative agenda to divide the people and to lead Bihar to doom.
The remarkable victory of NDA assumes significance as people consciously blessed welfare-driven governance, institutional stability, and inclusive development along with politics of performance and development. The extraordinary participation of women and youth voters, emerging as an independent political force distinct from traditional caste calculations, suggests that future politics will increasingly center around the political party and coalition capable of most credibly deliver the benefits to vulnerable sections of the society and meets the aspirations of the people. While this mandate represents vindication of two decades of NDA institutional investments in social welfare combined with renewed opportunity to address unemployment, poverty, and economic dynamism through coordinated center-state governance, the result also validates the “double-engine” governance model- seamless coordination between PM Modi’s Central government and CM Nitish Kumar’s state administration working in perfect synchronization toward development objectives and aspirational goals.
As people repose their faith on NDA and respond with huge mandate, the foundation is firmly laid now for ‘Viksit Bihar’ as the mandate is decisive and the support is massive. As the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for the massive mandate to the people of Bihar, the democracy is shining more brightly radiating hope and trust in the state. Now the dream of ‘Viksit Bihar’ is set to be realised with NDA sarkar.
