‘So far, 3.89 lakh crore transferred to farmers under PM-KISAN’

     PM Shri Narendra Modi released the 20th installment of PM-KISAN– Rs. 20,500 crore to over 9.70 crore farmers. On this occassion, BJP Kisan Morcha National President Shri Rajkumar Chahar in Press Conference on 02 August 2025 extended heartfelt gratitude and appreciation on behalf of millions of farmers to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

So far, a total of Rs. 3.89 lakh crore has been directly transferred to farmers’ accounts under this scheme.

Shri Chahar stated that the scheme was launched on 1st February 2019 by the Prime Minister with the aim of addressing the financial needs of all farming families for the purchase of agricultural inputs, ensuring proper crop health and yields.

This support also contributes to fulfilling household needs. The scheme has played a significant role in making farmers financially stronger and helping them escape the debt trap. Special thanks for cabinet decisions in favour of farmers.
