The Prime Minister underlined that the state of Bihar along with entire India was witnessing the progress of major developmental targets. He added that unlike in the past when the schemes and projects were just on papers, today they are being successfully implemented on ground. “We are treading steadfastly towards Viksit Bharat”, exclaimed Shri Modi. He added that our current generation was fortunate enough to be a witness to the Viksit Bharat along with contributing towards the goal.

Reiterating the government’s commitment towards the welfare of the people and service of the nation, the Prime Minister mentioned the development projects of today worth around Rs 12,000 crore encompassing the sectors of road, rail and gas infrastructure. Moreover, the Prime Minister said that a significant step has been taken today to realize the dream of AIIMS in Darbhanga which would bring big changes in the health sector of Bihar. He informed that the regions of Mithila, Kosi and Tirhut apart from areas of West Bengal and nearing regions would benefit from this, while also catering to the patients visiting India from Nepal. He said that multiple new opportunities for employment and self-employment would also be created. The Prime Minister congratulated the people of Mithila, Darbhanga and entire Bihar for the development projects of today.

Noting that the highest share of population in India comprises the poor and the middle-class people, the Prime Minister remarked that the people of these sections were most impacted by diseases, which leads to huge out-of-pocket expenditure for the treatment. Shri Modi remarked that he was well aware of how the entire family would be distraught if someone in the family was down with an illness. He added that situation of the medical infrastructure was very poor in the past due to dearth of hospitals and doctors, over-priced medicines and less diagnostic & research centers. The Prime Minister remarked that the progress of the nation was stalled due to the poor health infrastructure and difficulties faced by the poor. Hence, he added, the old thought and approach were changed.

The Prime Minister underlined the holistic approach adopted by the government with regard to health. He outlined the focus areas of the government and said that the first focus area is prevention from diseases; secondly proper diagnosis of ailment; thirdly availability of free or low cost treatment and medicines; fourth to equip smaller towns with better medical facilities; and fifth expansion of technology in the health sector.

Shri Modi highlighted the government’s emphasis on Yoga, Ayurveda, nutritional value, Fit India Movement. Pointing out that  junk food and a poor lifestyle are the main cause of common ailments, the Prime Minister listed out the government’s efforts and mentioned campaigns like Swachh Bharat, toilets in each home and tap water connection that are aimed at promoting cleanliness and reducing the scope for diseases. The Prime Minister also praised the efforts of the Chief Secretary, his team and the people of the state to carry out cleanliness campaigns in Darbhanga for the past few days and to strengthen the movement. He also urged to extend the campaign for another few days.

The Prime Minister remarked that the severity of many diseases can be reduced if detected early. However, he noted, the high cost of diagnostics and research had prevented the people from getting known about being affected. “We have started more than 1.5 lakh Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in the country”, said Shri Modi which will help in early detection of diseases.

Noting that more than 4 crore patients were treated under the Ayushman Bharat scheme till date, the Prime Minister said that the absence of the scheme would have desisted many ill people from even being admitted to hospital. Shri Modi said that the scheme had alleviated the worries of many poor people due to the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. He noted that around 1.25 lakh crore Rupees has been saved by crores families due to Ayushman scheme and the patients were treated in both Government and private hospitals under the scheme.

Reaffirming the commitment of including citizens above 70 years of age in the scope of Ayushman Bharat scheme made during the elections, the Prime Minister remarked, “This guarantee has been fulfilled. Free treatment for senior citizens above 70 years has already begun irrespective of the family income.” He said that all beneficiaries would soon possess a Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card. He also touched upon Jan Aushadhi Kendras that offer medicines at extremely low costs.

Highlighting the fourth step of equipping smaller towns with better medical facilities and doctors towards better healthcare in India, the Prime Minister pointed out that there was only one AIIMS in the entire nation since 60 years of independence and the plan for establishing new AIIMS during previous governments were not completed. He informed that it was the present government that not only looked after ailments but also established new AIIMS in all corners of the country, taking the total number to around 24. The Prime Minister informed that the number of medical colleges have doubled in the last 10 years leading to more doctors. “Darbhanga AIIMS would produce many new doctors for the service of Bihar and the nation”, he added. The Prime Minister also touched upon enabling higher education in mother tongue and said that it has been his biggest tribute towards the dreams of Karpuri Thakur ji. In the last 10 years, the Prime Minister informed, 1 lakh new medical seats have been added and efforts are underway to add another 75,000 seats in the next 5 years. He further added that the option to study medicine in Hindi and other regional languages has also been created.

Emphasising the Government’s efforts to fight cancer, Shri Modi noted the cancer facility being constructed at Muzaffarpur will benefit the cancer patients of Bihar. He added that this single facility would cater to the needs of various kinds of cancers and patients need not have to travel to Delhi or Mumbai. The Prime Minister was pleased to announce the availability of a new eye hospital in Bihar soon. He added that he had requested the Kanchi Kamakoti Shri Shankarcharya ji for an eye hospital in Bihar like the recently inaugurated Sankara eye hospital in Varanasi and the work was in progress.

The Prime Minister lauded the Chief Minister of Bihar for developing a model of good governance . He said that the double engine government is committed to fast paced development in Bihar and working on the roadmap to strengthen the small farmers and industries. He said that Bihar’s identity is getting a boost with the infrastructural development, airports and expressways, as he credited the Udan scheme for the development of a new airport in Darbhanga. He also mentioned other development projects of today including expressways worth Rs 5,500 crore and City Gas Distribution (CGD) network worth around Rs 3,400 crore. “Mahayajna of development is taking Bihar to new heights”, the Prime Minister said, adding that new employment opportunities are being created.

The Prime Minister said that the development of farmers,Makhana producers and fisheries sectors in the region are the top priorities for the government. He informed that the farmers of Bihar have received more than Rs 25,000 crore under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, including farmers from Mithila. He credited the One District One Product scheme for the progress of Makhana producers and also informed that Makhana Research Center has been given the status of a national institution. “Makhanas have also received a GI tag”, he added. He also mentioned fish breeders availing the benefits of Kisan Credit Cards and PM Matsya Sampada Yojna. He emphasised that the government aims to develop India as a huge fish exporter in the world.

The Prime Minister reiterated that the Government was undertaking all efforts to provide relief to the people from the recurrent floods in Kosi and Mithila. He added that a comprehensive plan was announced in this year’s annual budget to tackle the floods in Bihar. He expressed confidence that a solution to the floods would be arrived at with the cooperation of Nepal and related development works worth over Rs 11,000 crore were underway.

“Bihar is the biggest center of India’s heritage”, said Shri Modi, adding that cherishing this legacy is a responsibility of all of us. Therefore, he added, that the Government was following the mantra of “Vikas bhi, Virasat bhi”. The Prime Minister underlined that Nalanda university was treading forward today to reclaim its long lost popularity.

Underlining the need for conservation of languages, the Prime Minister informed that Pali language, which scripts the teaching of Lord Buddha and Bihar’s glorious past, has been conferred the status of a Classical language. He reminded that it was the present government that included Maithili language in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution of India. “Maithili has been accorded the second language of the state in Jharkhand”, he added.

The Prime Minister informed that Darbhanga is one of the more than 12 cities in the country to be connected with Ramayana Circuit, thereby giving a boost to tourism. He said that Amrit Bharat train on Darbhanga – Sitamarhi – Ayodhya route has hugely benefited the citizens.

Shri Modi paid tributes to the Maharaj of Darbhanga Estate, Shri Kameshwar Singh ji who made significant contributions before and after independence. He added that the social work of  Shri Kameshwar Singh ji is Darbhanga’s pride and an inspiration for everybody. He noted that his good work is often discussed in Kashi as well. For years, Congress has been undermining the rights and welfare of the SC/ST communities: PM

| Published on:

Campaigning in Maharashtra has gained momentum, with PM Modi addressing multiple public meetings in Chimur and Solapur. Congratulating Maharashtra BJP on releasing an excellent Sankalp Patra, PM Modi said, “This manifesto includes a series of commitments for the welfare of our sisters, for farmers, for the youth, and for the development of Maharashtra. This Sankalp Patra will serve as a guarantee for Maharashtra’s development over the next 5 years.”

Highlighting the speed and scale of the Mahayuti government, PM Modi stated, “Who better than the people of Chandrapur to know the speed at which the Mahayuti government works… and how these Aghadi leaders block progress? For decades, the people here had been demanding rail connectivity, but Congress and the Aghadi leaders never allowed it to happen. Our government approved the Kampa-Varora railway line. Along with Mahayuti in Maharashtra, BJP-NDA in the centre, this means double-engine government in Maharashtra. This means ‘double-raftaar’ of development.”

PM Modi slammed Congress for backing violence and separatism, stating, “Congress and its allies fuel violence for political gain. Recently, we saw the chaos in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly. Kashmir burned in separatism and terrorism for decades, thanks to Article 370, a Congress legacy. We abolished it, fully integrating Kashmir with India. Now, Congress and its allies are pushing to reinstate it, doing Pakistan’s bidding.”

Emphasizing that farmers are a top priority, PM Modi said, “For Maharashtra’s prosperity, our farmers must prosper. Today, farmers are reaping the benefits of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. The Mahayuti government is also delivering double benefits through the Namo Shetkari Yojana.”

“The bamboo from Chandrapur is famous worldwide. It is our government that changed decades-old regulations related to bamboo, making bamboo farming easier for you. Our government is also focusing on skill training for bamboo artisans in Gadchiroli and Chandrapur,” the PM added.

Exposing Congress’s conspiracy against SCs and STs, Prime Minister Modi warned, “Congress and its allies are plotting to weaken the 10% tribal population by dividing them into castes. Here in Chimur-Chandrapur, they want to sow division among communities like the Gonds, Arakh, Paradhan, Pahari, Soroti, Halba, Halbi, Kolam, and Mannervarlu. If the tribal society is divided, its strength will fade. Congress’s Shehzada himself admitted this abroad. That’s why I say, we must not fall victim to Congress’s conspiracy. We must stay united—’Ek Hain Toh Safe Hain’.”

PM Modi reiterated, “If you are not united, Congress will first take away your reservations. The Congress royal family has always believed they were born to rule, which is why they never let Dalits, backward classes, and tribals progress. Reservations empower these communities, and that’s why Congress despises them. In the 1980s, they even questioned these rights. Today, Congress still speaks the language of the powerful, vowing to end reservations for Dalits, backward classes, and tribals. Stay alert against Congress and its allies.”

In his second rally of the day, PM Modi stated, “The development Solapur has awaited for decades, and the long-stalled projects, have been completed by the Mahayuti government. Recently, I inaugurated the expansion of Solapur Airport, enhancing connectivity for all visitors. Solapur’s Palkhi pilgrimage tradition once posed challenges for pilgrims, but the new Palkhi Mahamarg has resolved them. Today, four-lane highways surround Solapur, and Vande Bharat trains operate from the city—achievements made possible by the BJP at the Center and the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra.”

PM Modi took a jibe against the opposition and said, “The vehicle the Maha Aghadi is riding is the most unstable. They waste time fighting among themselves. You can see the chaos within the Aghadi right now. Even before the elections, there’s a tug-of war-over the Chief Minister’s post.” He further added, “One party spends all day claiming their leader is the CM, while the other parties and Congress are rejecting their claim. Just think about it—this is their situation before the elections. The Aghadi can never provide Maharashtra with a stable government.”

PM Modi also highlighted the Mahayuti government’s commitment to women’s empowerment through initiatives like the ‘Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’. “Despite opposition attempts to halt these benefits, women have gained financial strength,” he said.

Wrapping up the rally, PM Modi remarked, “This election in Maharashtra is a choice between Mahayuti’s proven track record of development and Maha Aghadi’s same old tape record of lies. In every election, Congress repeats the same rumors—they tried it in Haryana and were rejected. Maharashtra must be equally vigilant. Today, one voice echoes across Maharashtra—’Only a Mahayuti government is needed.’ Strengthen this voice and secure a decisive victory for all Mahayuti candidates.”

The people of Jharkhand have decided to uproot the corrupt government of the INDI alliance: Jagat Prakash Nadda

| Published on:

Hon’ble Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed the public meetings in Bagodar and Jamua in Jharkhand on Tuesday and criticized the JMM-Congress-RJD alliance government in Jharkhand for the injustice done to the tribals and for halting the development of the people of the Jharkhand. He appealed to the people to form a BJP government in the state to stop infiltration and to lead Jharkhand on the path of development. During the event, Jharkhand BJP President Shri Babulal Marandi, State Working President Shri Ravindra Rai, Chhattisgarh Deputy CM Shri Vijay Sharma, Union Minister Smt Annapurna Devi, BJP Candidate from Bagodar Shri Nagendra Mahto, BJP Candidate from Jamua Smt Manju Kumari, Shri Ramkhelawan Patel, Shri Chote Lal Yadav, AJSU Shri Arup Pandey, LJP (R) State President Shri Rajkumar Raj, among others were present.

Shri Nadda stated that the enthusiasm has made it clear that the people have decided to elect Shri Nagendra Mahto to the Assembly. The people of Jharkhand have decided to uproot the corrupt JMM government and walk on the path of development with the BJP. There is no better alternative than the BJP and NDA to work for the interests of Jharkhand. When the demand for creating Jharkhand as a separate state was being raised and an agitation was underway, the Congress party was procrastinating and going back on its promises. RJD President Lalu Yadav had also opposed the creation of Jharkhand, saying that the state would be formed over his dead body. Today, Lalu Yadav is still alive and Jharkhand has not only been formed but stands strong with pride and dignity. The credit for the creation of Jharkhand goes to Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Today, with great pride, the Bharatiya Janata Party can confidently say that BJP not only created Jharkhand but also nurtured it and the BJP will continue to develop it further. The concern for Jharkhand and the work of integrating it into the mainstream of development has been carried out by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.

Hon’ble BJP National President stated that Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s Birth Anniversary is now being celebrated as ‘Adivasi Gaurav Diwas’ and brought the tribal brothers and leaders into the mainstream and honored them. The Modi Government has highlighted the glorious history of great freedom fighters of Jharkhand like Poto Ho, Tilka Majhi, Chand-Bhairav, Nilambar-Pitamber, and Sidho-Kanho, highlighting their glorious history to the entire nation and the world. Many of our tribal brothers across states worship Bhagwan Birsa Munda and the Bharatiya Janata Party salutes them with the highest respect and honor. Whether they are tribals from Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand or Chhattisgarh, every tribal group from different states regards Bhagwan Birsa Munda as their idol and a revered figure. The history of Jharkhand is that of brave warriors who have always fought against the British or any other oppressive regime and uprooted them. Now the time has come for these brave warriors to uproot the JMM-Congress-RJD government from Jharkhand and establish a BJP and NDA government in the state. Wherever there is JMM, Congress, and RJD, there is corruption, nepotism, and familialism. People must remember that these are corrupt and dynastic parties, consisting of those who steal the rightful share of the people.

Shri Nadda stated that the people of Jharkhand have witnessed the 10-year tenure of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, ‘Modi Sarkaar Ki Guarantee Matlab Guarantee Pura Hone ki Guarantee.’ The BJP has delivered on what it promised and also fulfilled what it didn’t promise. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has worked towards uplifting tribal, OBC, backward and other communities, ensuring they progress equally. Modi government has tripled the budget for the development of tribal people and increased the budget for Eklavya Residential Schools by 21 times. Previously, only 10 products were provided with MSP, but today, 90 forest products are covered under MSP. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has launched the PM Janman Yojana with a budget of ₹24,000 crore to provide essential facilities to tribal areas. For years, the OBC and backward communities were neglected in the country. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi talks about OBCs, but during Congress rule, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi suppressed the Kaka Kalelkar and Mandal Commission reports. It was the BJP-supported government that worked to integrate the backward classes into the mainstream, and it was Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji that has advanced their progress. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji granted constitutional status to the National Backward Classes Commission. We have resolved that while keeping the reservation for SC and ST communities intact, we will provide 27% reservation for our OBC community in educational institutions and jobs.

Hon’ble BJP National President emphasized that under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the country is progressing and the BJP wants the same pace of development to come to Jharkhand as well. When Jharkhand had a double-engine government and Shri Nagendra Mahto was the MLA, 52 roads were constructed, and development work was progressing rapidly. Efforts to provide water and build roads to villages were underway. However, when representatives from CPI (ML) arrived, they fueled violence and disrupted the development work.

Shri Nadda pointed out that while many developed countries like the USA, Europe, Japan and Australia are struggling economically after the COVID-19 pandemic, India is emerging as a bright spot and growing faster under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, according to the International Monetary Fund. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the agricultural budget has been increased fivefold. India ranks second in steel production. In toy production, India has become the third-largest exporter in the world. Additionally, India has become the third-largest market in the global automobile industry. In terms of infrastructure, nearly ₹19 lakh crore have been spent in the last 10 years, driving forward the progress of development projects.

Hon’ble BJP National President stated that according to the IMF and Niti Aayog, 25 crore people have risen above the poverty line and extreme poverty has fallen to less than 1%. This progress has been made possible due to the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. Under the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, 80 crore people are receiving 5 kg of free wheat, rice, and Dal each month. In Jharkhand, 2 crore, 60 lakh people are benefiting from this scheme, with 21 lakh people in Giridih alone taking advantage of it. Additionally, the Ayushman Bharat scheme, launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji from Ranchi, is providing free treatment up to ₹5 lakh to 55 crore people. As a result, no poor person will be deprived of medical care. On October 29, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji approved free treatment of up to ₹5 lakh per year for life to every citizen above the age of 70, regardless of their caste, religion, or economic status. After the formation of the NDA government in Jharkhand, the Ayushman Bharat scheme will be increased to provide coverage of ₹10 lakh per year

Shri Nadda highlighted that under the PM Awas Yojana, 4 crore people have been provided with pucca houses, of which 18 lakh houses have been built in Jharkhand and 1 lakh 21 thousand houses have been constructed in Giridih district. After becoming Prime Minister for the third time, Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji decided in his first Cabinet meeting that 3 crore more houses would be built. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the central government has constructed over 12 crore toilets (Izzat Ghars for women) across the country, with 41 lakh Izzat Ghars built in Jharkhand alone. Through the Ujjwala Yojana, over 11 crore women have received gas cylinders. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, 11.78 crore farmers, including 20 lakh farmers from Jharkhand, of which 1 lakh 60 thousand are from Giridih, are receiving ₹6,000 annually. That’s why, due to schemes like the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Ujala Yojana, and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, 25 crore people have risen above the poverty line, and their development work has been accelerated.

Hon’ble BJP National President emphasized that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has always kept Jharkhand in the mainstream. During the Congress tenure, Jharkhand received ₹80,000 crore from the central government. However, in the last 10 years under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s leadership, Jharkhand has been allocated ₹3 lakh crore. The Mudra Yojana was launched in Dumka, marking the start of the development journey for a Viksit Bharat from Khunti. PM Janman Yojana was also introduced in Khunti, the birthplace of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, while Ayushman Bharat was launched from Ranchi. The Hon’ble Prime Minister has approved the establishment of five medical colleges in Dumka, Palamu, Hazaribagh, Koderma, and Chaibasa, with plans for 10 more once the BJP forms the government in the state. AIIMS, Deoghar, has been built, ensuring Jharkhand will have its facilities for treating serious illnesses, with AIIMS providing specialised care. Ranchi has been developed into a smart city. Moreover, airports have been established in Deoghar and Jamshedpur, and the Ranchi airport has been expanded. In addition, 12 Vande Bharat trains now run through Jharkhand.

Shri Nadda highlighted the ongoing development of highways and roadways, with 2,256 km of National Highways already completed. Work has also begun on a 6-lane green corridor connecting Banaras, Ranchi, and Kolkata. Shri Nadda urged the people to elect Shri Nagendra Mahto to the Ranchi Assembly to establish a “double-engine government.” Shri Nagendra Mahto has served as a teacher and social worker, with a particular focus on the renovation and development of schools, benefiting the people of the region. Shri Nagendra Mahto has made significant contributions, including the establishment of Bhagottar Polytechnic College, the renovation of schools, and providing accessible education to marginalized and underprivileged communities. He also highlighted that during the tenure of the CPI (ML) MLA, women were abducted and subjected to violence, with instances of rape occurring.

Hon’ble BJP National President stated that after the formation of the BJP government in Jharkhand on November 23, a cabinet meeting will be held on the 24th, followed by the launch of the Gogo Didi Yojana. Under this scheme, ₹2,100 will be provided to the women of Jharkhand monthly, totaling ₹25,000 annually. In Chhattisgarh, where the BJP government is in power, the party has fulfilled its promise by implementing the Gogo Didi Yojana to provide financial support to women. From the very first month, the BJP has been sending ₹2,100 per month, and to date, 10 installments have been transferred to the beneficiaries’ accounts. Due to the discriminatory approach of the Jharkhand government, the bridge over the Hira River in Jamua remains incomplete. However, once the BJP forms the government, its construction will be ensured. Additionally, under the Laxmi Johar Yojana, gas cylinders will be priced at ₹500, with two free cylinders provided during festivals each year. To ensure employment, 2,87,000 government jobs will be created, with 1.5 lakh jobs to be given before November 2025. For graduate and postgraduate youths, a provision will be made to offer ₹2,000 per month for up to two years to assist with their studies. The pension for widows, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities will be increased to ₹2,500 per month.

Shri Nadda also criticized the Hemant Soren government for allowing Bangladeshi infiltrators to settle in Jharkhand, claiming that they had taken land from the tribal people by marrying local women. Hemant Soren’s government is one that practices discrimination, while the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji follows the guiding principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.’ Hemant Soren has built his vote bank by allowing infiltration from Bangladesh. The BJP government will introduce a law to ensure that the children of such infiltrators will not be granted any tribal rights. Furthermore, stamp duty on property purchases up to ₹50 lakh in the name of mothers and sisters will be reduced to ₹1, a provision that was scrapped by the Hemant Soren government. Ten new medical colleges will be opened, and elderly people aged 70 years and above will receive free healthcare facilities up to ₹10 lakh. Paddy will be purchased at ₹3100 per quintal, with payment transferred to bank accounts within 24 hours. For those with up to 5 acres of land, ₹5000 will be provided under the Krishi Ashirwad Yojana for each acre.

Hon’ble BJP National President remarked that it is necessary to uproot the current Hemant Soren government in Jharkhand because it is a government of thieves, supporting and aiding corruption. JMM government exploits people’s rights and interests. The Jharkhand mining scam, worth ₹5000 crore, a ₹4000 crore scam, has also taken place under the Jal Jeevan Mission and Hemant Soren has been involved in a land scam, having been jailed and still facing accusations, only released on bail. All the UPA leaders are either in jail or out on bail. The land scam was a ₹236 crore fraud, while the rural development scam amounted to ₹37 crore, in which ₹20 crore was seized from the house of a servant of Minister Alamgir Alam’s PA. ₹36 crore scam also occurred in MGNREGA and the Chief Minister was jailed, with his officers still in prison. In Jharkhand, where tribals and OBCs are known for their honesty and patriotism, such a corrupt government is in power. The people of Jharkhand should not allow such individuals to rise and instead should form a government under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji with a double-engine NDA government to take Jharkhand on the path of development.

JMM will have to pay back every penny looted from backward, tribal and youth: Amit Shah

| Published on:

Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation and Senior BJP leader Shri Amit Shah addressed two mega public rallies in Jharia and Baghmara in Jharkhand on Tuesday and strongly criticized the Jhrakhand’s INDI Alliance, blaming it for promoting infiltration into Jharkhand and for the issue of the decreasing tribal population in the state. During the events, BJP Jharia Candidate Smt Ragini Singh, BJP Baghmara Candidate Shri Shatrugan Mahto, Dhanbad District BJP President Shri Shravan Rai, Dhanbad MP Shri Dulu Mahto and BJP Organization General Secretary of Jharkhand Shri Saroj Singh, among other leaders were present.

Shri Shah began his address by seeking blessings from Kalyaneshwar Devi and Bhagwan Birsa Munda. He also paid tribute to Madan Mohan Malviya, stating that today marks the birth anniversary of Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya, who was a great freedom fighter and established BHU. He stated that on the upcoming 20th of November, the vote of the people of Jharia and Dhanbad will decide their future. The vote will decide whether they want the government of JMM, who make themselves crorepatis, or Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, who makes poor women ‘Lakhpati Didis’

Hon’ble Union Home Minister stated that Jharkhand is the most prosperous state of India, as its land is enriched with abundant coal, aluminum, steel, etc. Jharkhand is prosperous, but the people of Jharkhand are not because of no developmental work. After forming the BJP government, in 5 years, the party will work to make Jharkhand the most prosperous state in India

Shri Shah stated that ₹35 crore has been found at the home of Jharkhand Minister Alamgir Alam and ₹350 crore from the house of Congress MP. The money found in the raids belonged to the common people of Jharkhand, which was looted by the JMM and Congress. After the BJP forms the government, there will be action against those who did corruption. The money, which belongs to poor Adivasis, youth, and backwards, will be kept in Jharkhand’s treasury after the BJP forms the government. The Jharkhand government has been involved in several scams, including a ₹1000 crore MGNREGA scam, a ₹1000 crore mining scam, multi-crore land scam, and a multi-crore liquor excise policy scam.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister remarked that the BJP has formed a ‘Sankalp Patra’ that outlines the party’s commitments. While Congress leader Rahul Gandhi makes ‘Khata-Khat,’ ‘Phata-Phat’ announcements, those promises would remain unfulfilled, something both the public and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge acknowledged. Shri Shah emphasized that ‘Modi Ki Guarantees’ are firm and the BJP is committed to fulfilling each one of them. Shri Shah announced that the BJP has pledged to deposit ₹2,100 monthly into women’s bank accounts under the ‘Gogo Didi Yojana’. Gas cylinders would not cost more than ₹500 and the BJP government would provide two free gas cylinders each year on Diwali and Rakshabandhan. Hemant Soren had promised ‘Bekaari Bhatta’ for the youth, which was not delivered. Under a BJP government, the youth will receive a monthly cheque of ₹2,000.

Shri Shah mentioned that during the BJP’s tenure, women in Jharkhand only had to pay ₹1 as stamp duty on property purchases up to ₹50 lakh, a benefit that the JMM later discontinued. He assured that the BJP would reinstate this benefit. The BJP government would buy farmers’ rice at ₹3,100 per quintal and increase pensions for the elderly, disabled and widows to ₹2,500. The people of Jharkhand migrate to other states for employment, but the BJP will ensure the establishment of industries in the state to prevent migration to other states.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister stated that in the past 10 years, Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji has worked for the poor people of the country. Every poor household now receives a toilet facility, water connection, pucca house, electricity connection, and 5 kg of free food grains per month. Under Ayushman Bharat, ₹5 lakh in free health benefits was provided. Now, every elderly person aged above 70 years will receive ₹5 lakh in Ayushman Bharat benefits, totaling ₹10 lakh per household. Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji used Jharkhand as the center to launch public beneficiary schemes. Ayushman Bharat, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, and Mudra Yojana were first launched in Jharkhand. He said that in 10 years under the Sonia-Manmohan, Rahul Gandhi, Lalu Prasad, and Hemant Soren governments, only ₹84,000 crore was allotted to Jharkhand. However, from 2014 to 2024, ₹3 lakh 90 thousand crore has been given to the state, with another ₹81 thousand crore allotted for infrastructure development.

Shri Shah remarked that Hemant Soren welcomes infiltrators and then the infiltrators take away jobs from youth and marry tribal women to capture their land. The BJP government in Jharkhand will systematically identify and remove every infiltrator from India. Significant steps will also be taken to prevent new infiltrators from entering the state. Shri Shah stated that the JMM is spreading false claims that the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code will harm tribals. Shri Shah added that UCC will definitely be implemented, including in Jharkhand, to prevent infiltration. However, tribals will be excluded from the UCC and it will not affect them. JMM protects infiltrators because they are afraid of their vote bank. However, BJP is not afraid of that vote bank.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister stated that the Congress party delayed the construction of the Ram Mandir for nearly 70 years, but under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the temple’s construction and ‘Pran Pratishtha’ were completed in just five years. Not only the Ram Mandir, but the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor was developed and the process of making the Somnath Mandir with gold has now begun. Shri Shah assured the traders of Jharia that once the BJP formed the government, no one would have to pay extortion money. The BJP is also dedicated to completely eradicating coal smuggling. Under Hemant Soren’s government, youth have to run around in desperation to secure a job. In contrast, the BJP will ensure such transparency in recruitment that appointment letters will be delivered directly to people’s homes by the postman.

Shri Shah stated that the Congress party is an anti-reservation party and seeks to end reservations for backward communities and Dalits while offering them to a special community. As long as the BJP is in power, the special community will not be given reservations. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has nearly eliminated terrorism and Naxalism from the country. Whereas, Rahul Gandhi’s Congress party wants to restore Article 370, but neither Rahul Gandhi nor even his coming generations can bring it back. Kashmir is an inseparable part of India and no one can take it away. Shri Amit Shah also mentioned that Rahul Gandhi’s Congress, Lalu Yadav’s RJD, Mamata Banerjee’s TMC, and Hemant Soren’s JMM all opposed the removal of Article 370, claiming it would result in rivers of blood. Six years have passed and no one even has the courage to throw a single stone.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister mentioned that elections are taking place in Maharashtra, where the ulemas submitted a petition to Congress Maharashtra President Nana Patole, requesting reservations for Muslims. Nana Patole accepted their demand. In Karnataka and Telangana, the Congress reduced reservations for backward classes, Dalits, and tribals and gave them to a special community. As long as the BJP is in power, no one will be able to alter the reservations.

Shri Shah stated that in 1955, the Kakasaheb Kalelkar Commission was established, which recommended reservations for backward classes. Later, the Mandal Commission made similar recommendations, but Indira Gandhi and the Congress party did not accept them. It is Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji who granted constitutional recognition to the Backward Classes Commission, thereby honoring the backward communities. Under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, 27% reservation has been implemented for all central admissions, including those in medical, engineering, and Sainik schools. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has also ensured that 30% of the members in the BJP government come from backward classes. Rahul Gandhi and JMM have worked to divide society by caste. Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji has focused on four categories: the poor, youth, women, and farmers, and worked for their respect and upliftment.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister stated that just like a transformer supplies electricity to homes, the state government is responsible for delivering the central government’s schemes to the public. However, the transformer of the JMM government has failed and needs to be replaced. A double-engine government should be formed in the state to ensure the effective implementation of these schemes. Shri Shah urged the public to give a resounding victory to Smt. Ragini Singh and Shri Shatrughan Mahto by voting in favor of the ‘Lotus’ symbol to form the BJP government in Jharkhand, thereby strengthening Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.

Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurates National Workshop on Higher and Technical Education

| Published on:

Union Minister for Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, inaugurated a two-day National Workshop on Higher and Technical Education with Secretaries of States/UTs in New Delhi today. Minister of State for Education and the Development of North Eastern Region, Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, was also present at the event. Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Shri K. Sanjay Murthy; Additional Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Shri Sunil Kumar Barnwal; Chairman, UGC, Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar; Joint Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Smt. Manmohan Kaur; Secretaries of States/UTs, academicians, Head of the Institutes, and officials of the Ministry were also present.

While addressing the event Shri Pradhan said that the workshop will serve as a platform for rigorous academic brainstorming, particularly how education can bring substantive improvements in furthering ease of living, enhancing per capita income and achieving national priorities set by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He also said that the country has to become a producing economy by utilising the opportunities presented by Industry 4.0 and leapfrog and develop the education infrastructure that surpasses global standards. Education infrastructure is a multi-dimensional concept and beyond just developing brick-and-mortar structures, he added.

The Minister suggested five key areas for the academic leaders and administrators to focus on. These were strengthening public universities through innovative modes of funding; setting up think tanks for aligning and tailoring curriculum as per the demand of industry and also as per the needs and aspirations of states/UTs; adopting a multidisciplinary approach to research and innovation for assuming leadership in solving global problems; promoting Academic Leadership Development Programmes in each state/UT through collaborations with eminent central/state institutions; and reviving vibrancy of campus life through sports, debate, poetry, drama, performing arts (already creditized through NEP) and giving primacy to these non-scholastic areas.

Shri Pradhan also emphasised the importance of teaching in Indian languages. Stressing the accountability towards the students of the country, he said everyone will have to work together to establish India’s global leadership in education.

Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, in his address, expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his vision to reshape India’s educational landscape through the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. NEP is not just a policy; it is a roadmap to make India a global knowledge superpower, he added. Highlighting the five pillars of NEP 2020, which are access, equity, quality, affordability, and accountability, Dr. Majumdar said that these are the foundation for a modern, inclusive, and globally competitive education system. He urged the states and UTs to adopt NEP 2020 in both its letter and spirit. By implementing the policy, states can foster economic growth, build a skilled workforce, and enhance innovation and technological advancement, he said.

Shri K. Sanjay Murthy, in his address, set the context for the workshop. He briefly described the 14 technical sessions that would be held during the event. He also highlighted the key factors that emerged from serious deliberations over the past three years and mentioned that twenty guidelines have been developed, providing a framework for the universities. Additionally, he expressed his gratitude to Shri Dharmendra Pradhan for spearheading the implementation of NEP 2020 and for offering valuable guidance through his insights.

The objective of this workshop is to disseminate various approaches and methodologies to implement NEP 2020; effectively articulate the roadmap and implementation strategies, fostering knowledge exchange; provide a common platform for all stakeholders to come together and network for effective and smooth implementation of the NEP 2020 and encourage its adoption in state institutions, paving the way for a more robust, inclusive, and globally competitive education system across India.

Adopting NEP 2020 offers numerous benefits for states’ higher education systems. It can drive economic growth by creating a more skilled workforce, attracting investments, and boosting development. By aligning higher education with international standards, it enhances the global competitiveness of states’ education systems, potentially attracting more international students and collaborations. The policy’s emphasis on research and a multidisciplinary approach fosters innovation ecosystems within states, leading to technological advancements and economic benefits.

Successful implementation of NEP 2020 in higher education requires active participation and commitment from state governments. By leveraging central government schemes and aligning state policies with NEP 2020, states have the opportunity to transform their education systems to meet the challenges of the 21st century while preserving their unique cultural identities.

During this two-day workshop, 14 technical sessions on the themes of NEP 2020 Implementation – Challenges and Roadmap; Technology in Education; Collaboration in Education; Digital Governance; Capacity Building & Leadership; and Financing of Higher Education are going to be held by eminent panellists.

He emphasised the contribution of ShikshaPatri and Vachanamrit was huge in this direction and it was the duty of all of us to imbibe their teachings and take them forward. Shri Modi also noted that the disciples of Swaminarayan tradition have planted more than one lakh trees under the Ek Ped Maa ke Naam campaign.

The Prime Minister remarked that every person has a purpose in life which also determines one’s life. He added that this purpose influences our mind, action and words and when one finds the purpose of life, then the whole life changes. He said that saints and sages have made people aware of the purpose of their life in every era. Shri Modi highlighted the huge contribution of saints and sages to our society and added that when the whole society and country unites to fulfil a purpose, it would definitely be accomplished. He added that there were many examples of the same. The Prime Minister underlined that the religious institutions had today given a huge purpose to the youth and the whole country was moving forward with a defined goal of developed India. Shri Modi urged the saints and sages of Vadtal and the entire Swaminarayan family to take this sacred purpose of developed India to the people.Citing a reference of the freedom movement, the Prime Minister said that the desire for freedom, the spark of freedom kept inspiring the countrymen from different corners of the society for a century and not a single day or single moment passed when people gave up their intentions of freedom, their dreams, their resolutions. He added that the same kind of desire which was found in the freedom movement, was necessary for 140 crore countrymen every moment for a developed India. He urged all the saints and disciples to inspire people that for the coming 25 years to live the goal of a developed India and keep ourselves connected to it every moment. The Prime Minister further emphasised that everyone should contribute to developed India irrespective of their place. He added that the first condition for a developed India was to make it a self-reliant India and no outsider was needed to achieve this but for the 140 crore citizens of India. Shri Modi urged the disciples present at the event to contribute by promoting Vocal for Local. Highlighting the importance of unity & integrity of the country for a developed India, Shri Modi remarked that vested interests were conspiring to destroy the society. He added that it was imperative to understand the seriousness of this attempt to defeat such attempts in an united manner.

Shri Modi emphasised Lord Shri Swaminarayan’s teachings of how big goals are achieved through hard penance, how a young mind has the ability to take a decisive direction to build the nation and how the youth can and will build the nation. He added that for this, it was necessary to create competent, capable and educated youth. Shri Modi underlined that empowered and skilled youth is the biggest strength for a developed India. He also added that the global demand for India’s youth will increase further. The Prime Minister highlighted that the demand of skilled manpower of India in the world was huge and the whole world was attracted by the strong youth power of India. He expressed confidence that these youth will not only be ready to fulfil the needs of the country but also the world .Highlighting the efforts of Swaminarayan sect on de-addiction, Shri Modi urged the saints and disciples to contribute in keeping the youth away from addiction and making them drug-free. He added that campaigns and efforts to save the youth from drug addiction are always necessary not just in India but across the globe and had to be done continuously.

Shri Modi was pleased that the glory of thousands of years old India’s heritage centres was being redeveloped which was once considered destroyed, citing the example of Ayodhya. He also cited the examples of the transformation of Kashi, Kedarnath, Pavgadh, Sun temple of Modhera, Somnath. He added that a new consciousness and a new revolution was evident all around. Shri Modi also noted that hundreds of years old stolen idols of Gods and Goddesses were being returned to India. BJP made Jharkhand the centre of big schemes : PM

| Published on:

Jharkhand’s campaign heats up as PM Modi’s back-to-back rallies boost enthusiasm across the state. Ahead of the first phase of Jharkhand’s assembly elections, PM Modi today addressed two mega rallies in Bokaro and Gumla. He said that there is only one echo among the people of the state that: ‘Roti, Beti, Maati ki pukar, Jharkhand mein BJP-NDA Sarkar,’ and people want BJP-led NDA to come to power in the assembly polls.”

Talking about BJP-NDA’s mantra, the PM asserted, “We created Jharkhand, and we’ll shape its future. Those who opposed its creation will never drive its progress. Here’s a clear comparison: From 2004 to 2014, Congress barely allocated ₹80,000 crore to Jharkhand. But in the last 10 years, under Modi’s government, BJP-NDA has sent over ₹3 lakh crore.” He added, “That’s nearly four times more, because we’re committed to the Jharkhand we built.”

Emphasizing job opportunities for youth, PM Modi said, “The BJP-NDA is boosting new industries and reopening closed factories in Jharkhand, like the Sindri fertilizer plant, which we revived to create thousands of jobs. When BJP forms the government here, it will secure even more jobs for young people. Just ask those working in Haryana, they will tell you that under BJP, thousands got government jobs without bribes or favoritism. We will do the same in Jharkhand. We also aim to crack down on the paper-leak and recruitment mafias fostered by the JMM-Congress and bring them to justice.”

Focussing on Nari Shakti, PM Modi remarked, “Ensuring a better life for Jharkhand’s sisters and daughters is my foremost priority. Our government has provided toilets, bank accounts, and financial assistance during pregnancy. Now, the Jharkhand BJP has introduced the Gogo-Didi scheme, which will directly transfer financial aid to women’s bank accounts. We are also working to bring affordable piped gas to households, and once the BJP-NDA government is in power here, we will extend this benefit to even more homes.”

Highlighting a new slogan, ‘Ek Hain Toh Safe Hain’, the PM said, “For Jharkhand’s development, collective effort is crucial. Stay alert to the Congress-JMM’s conspiracy. Congress has always opposed the unity of SC, ST, and OBC communities. In 1990, OBC reservations united these communities, and since then, Congress hasn’t been able to secure 250 seats in Lok Sabha. That’s why they want to divide OBCs into smaller castes. Here in Bokaro-Dhanbad and Chot Nagpur, over 150 OBC castes, including Yadavs, Kurmis, Telis, Koiri-Kushwahas, Noniya, Bind, Sonar, and many more, form a powerful force for progress.”

He added, “Congress-JMM wants to divide them, pitting castes against each other. This will weaken the collective strength of OBCs. Do you want the OBC community to break into pieces? That would only weaken your voice. Remember – Ek Hain Toh Safe Hain.”

PM Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress in poll-bound Jharkhand for supporting a resolution in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly calling for the restoration of Article 370, stating that it reflects the party’s disregard for the Constitution and its architect, BR Ambedkar. He added, “Congress wants to push Jammu and Kashmir back into violence by restoring Article 370. Article 370 will never be restored.'”

Kickstarting his second rally of the day in Gumla, PM Modi said, “Under Atal Ji’s leadership, the BJP government created the states of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh and established a separate ministry for the tribal community. Since you gave me the opportunity to serve in 2014, many historic milestones have been achieved. Our government declared Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary as Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, and this year marks his 150th birth anniversary. Starting November 15, we will celebrate the next year as Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh nationwide.”

During his speech in Gumla, PM Modi stated, “Before coming to politics, a big part of my life was spent among the tribals. I admired their talent, diligence, honesty and leadership. This is the reason that there are a lot of Adivasi ministers in the BJP government. BJP made Jharkhand the centre of big schemes. Earlier, schemes were started from Delhi, now many schemes have been started from Jharkhand.”

PM Modi accused Congress and its allies of keeping the tribal community poor and deprived for a long time and said the BJP is committed to eradicating poverty from Jharkhand. ‘It was the BJP that made a tribal person, and that too a woman, our country’s President for the first time,’ the PM said. He criticized the ruling JMM for disrespecting former Chief Minister Champai Soren and alleged that the JMM-Congress-RJD alliance has endangered Jharkhand’s identity.

Urging the people of Jharkhand to vote for NDA candidates, PM Modi stated, “With your support, the BJP will put an end to the infiltration happening in Jharkhand. For the safety of your daughters and the security of your land, a BJP-NDA government here is essential. Together, we must ensure prosperity reaches every family in Jharkhand.”

Under Modi Ji’s leadership, the Mahayuti alliance is moving forward for the welfare of Maharashtra based on principles: Amit Shah

| Published on:

Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation and senior BJP leader Shri Amit Shah today released the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Sankalp Patra for the Maharashtra Assembly Election in Mumbai, Maharashtra. During the event, BJP Maharashtra President Shri Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Shri Piyush Goyal, BJP National General Secretary Shri Vinod Tawde and other leaders were present. Shri Shah highlighted the achievements of the NDA-led Mahayuti government in Maharashtra, emphasizing economic growth and infrastructure development. He criticized the MVA alliance for its internal contradictions and failure to deliver on promises and its alignment with groups that oppose Maharashtra’s cultural and social values.

Shri Shah remarked that the release of the Sankalpa Patra represents the aspirations of the people of Maharashtra and reflects the greatness of its land. Maharashtra has been at the forefront of leadership in every field nationwide for centuries. The Bhakti movement started here, the struggle for freedom was led by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj from this very land and the social revolution also began in Maharashtra. The NDA-led Mahayuti government has worked towards honoring farmers, implementing measures for the welfare of the poor and has introduced schemes to empower women and enhance their dignity. Additionally, the Mahayuti government has undertaken efforts to restore and preserve the nation’s heritage.

Union Home Minister highlighted that for the first time after Jammu and Kashmir’s return to freedom, the state’s election and the Chief Minister’s oath were taken in accordance with Dr. Ambedkar’s Constitution, which is the highest tribute to Dr. Ambedkar. Following the abrogation of Article 370, leaders in Jammu and Kashmir swore allegiance to the true Constitution of India, a moment of pride for the entire nationThrough the Sankalpa Patra, the Mahayuti government has committed to promoting the legacies of great leaders, preserving cultural heritage and advancing national traditions. The Sankalpa Patra outlines plans to create a strong, prosperous, and secure Maharashtra.

Shri Shah pointed out that in the upcoming Maharashtra elections, the Mahayuti is contesting against the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). The MVA’s policies are driven by a hunger for power, focused on appeasement and undermining ideological values and are disconnected from Maharashtra’s culture. The MVA’s approach seeks to manipulate the state’s traditions for political gain. Shri Shah appealed to the people of Maharashtra to grant their mandate to the Mahayuti for a third consecutive term. For the first time in 2014, the people of Maharashtra gave their mandate to the Mahayuti. Under the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Mahayuti government was formed. In 2019 as well, the mandate was in favor of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Mahayuti, but the mandate was betrayed in the greed for power and the people’s decision was disregarded. Ultimately, an artificial and fabricated government was formed, which did not last long and the government collapsed, leading to the formation of the Mahayuti government again.

Union Home Minister emphasized that under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, Mahayuti is united and moving forward on the foundation of principles to work for the welfare of Maharashtra. The election campaign of those claiming to form an MVA government is also surrounded by internal contradictions. Shri Shah questioned Uddhav Thackeray, asking whether he could ask Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to say just two good words about Veer Savarkar. Could any Congress leader speak even two positive sentences about Balasaheb Thackeray? The people of Maharashtra must understand the internal contradictions within the MVA alliance, as those dreaming of forming such a government need to be exposed to the public.

Shri Shah underscored that whenever the Bharatiya Janata Party presents its Sankalpa Patra, it marks a decisive commitment, a clear line of action. The entire country has witnessed, whether at the state or central level, that whenever a government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party, the NDA or the Mahayuti has been formed, it has consistently worked with determination to convert its ‘Sankalpa’ into ‘Siddhi.’ No one ever imagined that Article 370 would be abrogated. But under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the NDA government made it a reality. Similarly, no one believed that the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) or the UCC (Uniform Civil Code) could be introduced in India. Nobody expected that Triple Talaq would be abolished in this country. And nobody thought that, after 550 years, Ram Mandir would be built at Ram Janmabhoomi, on the very site of Bhagwan Ram‘s birthplace, with the honor and respect it deserves.

Union Home Minister underscored that the BJP-led NDA government promised a Samriddh Bharat, and within just ten years, India’s economy has surged from being the 11th largest to the 5th largest in the world. Furthermore, this promise remains on track, with India’s economy projected to become the 3rd largest in the world by 2027Under the BJP government, 7 crore poor people have been provided with houses, electricity, gas, toilets, clean drinking water, free food grains, and free healthcare. In contrast, the MVA government has been marked by empty promisesEven the AICC President had to acknowledge that Congress leaders should be more cautious when making promises, as they often fail to deliver. This can be seen in states like Himachal Pradesh, where Congress reneged on its commitments; Telangana, where it failed to fulfill its pledges; and Karnataka, where the Congress government also backed out of its promises.

Shri Shah highlighted that the credibility of the MVA’s promises has reached an all-time low, while the people of India continue to have faith in the commitments made by the Mahayuti. The situation has descended to such a level of disgrace that the very Constitution under which Rahul Gandhi took his oath in Parliament—the same Constitution he used to invoke Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals—were found to be completely blank and not a single word was written in it when a journalist opened the copy of that Constitution. This marks the greatest insult to the Constitution of India, something that has never happened in the 76 years since India’s independence. This is not just an insult to the Constitution, but to the Constituent Assembly and Baba Saheb Ambedkar and it is Congress that has disrespected them.

Union Home Minister pointed out that the All India Ulema Board had demanded reservations for minorities, and the Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole acknowledged this demand, showing his support for it. Whether the people of Maharashtra agree with the Congress party’s position on this issue. Is the public in Maharashtra in favor of diverting reservations meant for SCs, STs and OBCs to Muslims? The Indian Constitution does not support reservations based on religion, yet Congress has promised to implement this policy even before coming to power. The people should be aware of this issue and its potential impact.

Shri Shah pointed out that Uddhav Thackeray is allied with those who opposed the abrogation of Article 370, those who opposed the construction of the Ram Mandir, those who used abusive language against Veer Savarkar, those who opposed the name Sambhajinagar and with those who opposed the implementation of CAA and UCC. Uddhav Thackeray is allied with those opposing the Wakf Amendment Bill. The people of Maharashtra should know that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has introduced a bill in Parliament to amend the Wakf Board ActFollowing the 2013 Wakf law amendments during Congress rule, its implications were such that many villages, farmers’ lands, houses, and even temples were declared Wakf properties. Now, when the BJP has introduced appropriate amendments to address these issues, the MVA allies are opposing it. Opposing the Wakf Amendment Bill could lead to further such acquisitions by the Wakf Board in the future.

Union Home Minister stated that the double-engine government has achieved significant development for Maharashtra over nearly 10 years. Sharad Pawar, who served as a minister during the UPA regime from 2004 to 2014, must answer what he accomplished for the people of Maharashtra. In those 10 years, the UPA government allocated only ₹1,91,384 crore, whereas Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s government has provided ₹10,15,890 croreThe MVA has done an injustice to the people of Maharashtra, despite being in power at both the Center and State levels. In contrast, the Mahayuti government has boosted the irrigation sector, achieving a 30% increase in irrigation coverage.
