India Records Lowest G20 Unemployment Rate at 2%

     Union Labour & Employment Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya on September 8 stated that that India’s unemployment rate is just 2%, the lowest among G20 nations, citing the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025. Speaking at the signing of MoUs with Mentor Together and Quikr, he highlighted the National Career Service (NCS) portal’s role in mobilizing 7.22 crore vacancies. The collaborations will offer career mentoring to two lakh youth and integrate over 1,200 daily job listings. Minister Sushri Shobha Karandlaje said the NCS has become India’s premier digital employment platform.
