PM MODI PAYS TRIBUTES TO MARTYRS OF KARGIL WAR

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on July 26 addressed the country through his radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat‘.

  • During the address, PM paid rich tributes to the martyrs of the Kargil War, spoke at length about India’s fight against the coronavirus and shared several inspiring stories of self -reliant India.
  • The Prime Minister also shared his conversation with youngsters who performed well during the board exams this year.
  • PM Shri Modi congratulated recently elected President of Surinam Shri Chandrika Prasad Santoshi.
  • PM said, “Recently Shri Chandrika Parasad Santoshi Ji has become the new President of Suriname. He started his oath with Veda hymns and spoke in Sanskrit.”
