WHO PRAISES MODI GOVERNMENT’S ‘AYUSHMAN BHARAT’ SCHEME

The World Health Organization has praised the ‘Ayushman Bharat’ Scheme launched by the Modi Government in India, saying that by accelerating its implementation, the country can better deal with the Coronavirus epidemic.

  • The WHO has praised the Narendra Modi Government’s efforts to prevent Corona infection. The WHO has said that the infection is not spreading fast in India, but its danger remains. Hence the need to be cautious.
  • The WHO released a report on 05 June in which it said that Corona cases in India are doubling in three weeks, but the epidemic has not yet become catastrophic.
  • WHO also said in the report that the movement of people in India has started again, in such a situation there is a risk of increasing infection but it said the government of India has been taking all precautions against Corona pandemic and it is a matter of relief.
